Twin Cupids at Work Daddy Come Home novel Chapter 341

Lucy pressed her fingertips to her aching temples. “Julian, this is between you and her. You two can figure it out yourselves.” She was done, not about to get dragged into the mess any longer.

Helene, with tears streaming down her face, clung to Lucy’s hand, refusing to let go.

“Miles, call the police,” Julian said quietly from the side. His voice was so cold it cut through the room. He hadn’t said a word until now.

Helene froze, her whole body turning cold. Did Julian just say that? Call the police? Was he really going to send her to jail?

“Julian, you want me to go to prison?” Her voice trembled, wild with disbelief.

“Shouldn’t you?” Julian’s eyes were icier than she’d ever seen.

Helene dropped to her knees, panic written all over her face. “Why, Julian? Why are you being so ruthless? I’m your fiancée. How can you do this to me?”

Julian looked down at her, unmoved. “I warned you five years ago. I told you not to play games around me. Did you ever listen?”

Helene sobbed, shaking her head. “I only did it because I love you, Julian. You can’t do this. You can’t be so heartless.”

Julian’s brows drew together. “Heartless? Haven’t I given you enough chances?”

He had put up with Helene’s tricks out of guilt so many times. But after everything, he had nothing left to give. She’d used up all his forgiveness.

Helene shook her head so hard her tears scattered everywhere.

The bodyguards moved in, ready to pull her away.

She fought back, ignoring the pain from her injuries. “No… don’t touch me! I’m not leaving! Mrs. Grayson, please, help me, save me…”

Lucy could hardly believe Helene’s nerve. Everyone in the room knew what really happened. Even the household staff probably had it figured out by now. And Helene was still trying to deny everything. Honestly, Lucy was almost impressed by how shameless she was.

Madeline just gave a cold smile.

Bill helped Christian to the sofa. Christian, dressed in a sharp suit and leaning on a cane, moved with a steady, commanding presence. His face was all authority.

Once he sat down, his eyes swept the room, landing on Helene. His expression grew even darker. “Take Helene home. I’ll deal with this myself.”

“Yes, sir. We’ll take her right away,” Bill said, hurrying to help Helene up.

Helene was eager to get out of there. But as the three of them took a step toward the door, two bodyguards stepped in to block their way, faces serious.

All three of them stopped. They turned, looking back at Julian, who sat on the sofa, silent and icy, not even glancing their way.
