Twin Cupids at Work Daddy Come Home novel Chapter 361

Bill marched in from outside, his voice loud and clear. “Helene.”

“Dad, why are you in such a hurry? Did you hear something from the Grayson family?”

Bill nodded. “Yes.”

Helene’s hand curled tighter around the blanket. “Is it about the paternity test?”

Bill didn’t hesitate. “Yes, the results are out.”

Helene’s whole body visibly trembled. Her face went pale. “Does Julian know?” Her voice was small, filled with dread.

“The results say the children aren’t Julian’s.”

“What?” Helene’s head snapped up, her eyes wide with disbelief. “That can’t be right.”

“Did you… did any of you do something?” She looked at them, desperate.

Bill shook his head. “No, we never got the chance.”

Courtney looked just as shocked. “Bill, are you sure? This isn’t some mistake or fake report, is it?”

“It’s real. Think about it. If Julian knew those kids were his, would the Grayson family still be acting like nothing happened?”

Helene hurried to get out of the hospital bed. “So it’s true?”

Bill nodded.

Helene looked lost. “How is this possible? We didn’t interfere. Who else could have?”

Bill frowned, clearly confused. “I really don’t know. The test just says there’s no biological relationship.”

All the worry on Helene’s face melted into pure joy. “That’s amazing. What about Julian? How did he react?”

“We’re not sure yet. But Christian is his grandfather. Julian can’t just go against him, not so openly. And the paternity test already proved he has nothing to do with those kids. He should finally move on from Madeline.”

Courtney nearly laughed out loud, her whole face lighting up with pride.

After so many stressful days, they finally felt like they were coming out on top.

Sure, they hadn’t gotten exactly what they wanted, but this outcome wasn’t bad at all.

Helene was over the moon, but then she remembered Julian’s anger, and a chill ran through her.

She knew him too well. He had been furious with her, actually ready to send her to jail.

If it hadn’t been for his grandfather stepping in, things would be very different for her right now.
