Under the Veil I Rule (Amara) novel Chapter 802

Amara glanced at her phone, but the screen remained completely dark. Not a single call came through. So why had Finnian come all the way out here? Just to stand outside?

She closed her eyes, refusing to let him twist her stomach into knots anymore.

After splashing some cold water on her face in the bathroom, she crawled into bed and forced herself to sleep.

The next morning, Amara called Elysia to check in and see if Dorian had tried to harass her again.

Elysia assured her everything was fine. Dorian had sent her a massive block of texts right before bed, but she had simply read it, deleted it, and left it unanswered.

Lucian would be keeping her company over the next few days, so she told Amara not to worry. Hearing that, Amara finally relaxed.

Amara got dressed and headed to the set. The moment she walked through the doors, a loud argument greeted her. She looked up to see Antonia and Yolanda standing face-to-face in a heated standoff while a few crew members tried to de-escalate the situation.

She blinked in surprise. What was going on? Why were Antonia and Yolanda at each other's throats?

Normally, she avoided unnecessary drama and had no intention of interfering, but the two women were blocking the only path to the lounge. Left with no choice, she walked toward them.

As she got closer, their shouting filled in the blanks of what had happened.

It turned out Yolanda had a dedicated makeup artist who perfectly understood her features and bone structure. They had worked together for two years, and Yolanda had naturally brought her along to the set.

But yesterday, Antonia noticed how flawless Yolanda's makeup looked and grew jealous. So, early this morning, before Yolanda even arrived, Antonia poached the artist to do her own makeup instead.

By the time Yolanda got to the studio, the artist was already halfway through Antonia's glam, leaving Yolanda with zero time to get ready for her own scenes.

Her bone structure was undeniably stunning. She possessed that high-fashion, effortless beauty that had taken the industry by storm recently. It wasn't a loud, flashy gorgeousness, but rather a striking elegance that only grew more captivating the longer you looked. Even if she wasn't an actress, she could easily dominate the runway.

Seeing Yolanda's clean, fresh complexion paired with her fiery, unyielding gaze as she argued gave her a raw, vibrant energy.

Thinking about the scenes they were scheduled to shoot today, a bold idea suddenly struck Amara.

She had already walked past them, but the more she pondered the concept, the more brilliant it seemed. After a moment of hesitation, she turned back and approached the actress.

"Yolanda."

Amara stepped up beside her, studying her features. "Would you be willing to shoot bare-faced?"
