“That Justin. If he wants to leave, fine, but did he have to slam the door? So unprofessional,” Eliot remarked with clear disapproval.

“I think it’s just pride talking. What reputable company would actually hire someone like him now?” added Henry, who had never been fond of Justin either.

“Our new boss is seriously impressive. On her first day, she cleans house by removing a problem like Justin. No more having to deal with his attitude during hiring reviews,” Bruce said, sounding relieved.

“Absolutely. I have a feeling major changes are coming. With Justin gone, the Head of HR position is now open.”

“The company will definitely bring in a replacement. If any of you have contacts who are genuinely capable and trustworthy, you might recommend them to Ms. Hamilton,” Eliot suggested seriously.

So, this assistant was Ethan’s appointee. That explained her evident loyalty to him.

“Then you must know the company’s operations inside and out. What’s your name?” Arabella asked, her gaze assessing.

“It’s Chloe Jenkins.”

“That’s a lovely name. From now on, you’ll be working directly with me. I’ll clear it with Mr. Hamilton, but I’m certain he’ll agree.” Arabella could sense Chloe’s inherent loyalty to Ethan.

If that loyalty could be transferred, having Chloe as her right hand would be a significant asset, allowing Arabella to manage the pharmaceutical business with greater ease.

“Mr. Hamilton has already instructed me. Effective immediately, I am your dedicated assistant. Please direct all your requests to me,” Chloe said respectfully, her demeanor professional.
