Unemployed Family? Hidden Tycoons Dote On Her novel Chapter 619

"Ignorant!" shouted the bespectacled reporter, his voice thick with frustration. "Why don't you stop making a scene? Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough already?"

"He's right. If you hadn't stirred up trouble, none of us would've doubted the legendary healer."

"You throw around accusations without even checking the facts."

"And you had the nerve to ask us to run your story—I'm cringing just standing here."

As the crowd turned in defense of Arabella, the man's face shifted from ghostly pale to flushed red. "You...," he stammered, struggling to form a full sentence.

The person beside him leaned in and whispered, "What do we do now? This is slipping out of our hands."

"How should I know?" the man snapped under his breath.

"Maybe we should just get out of here," his companion murmured.

The others quickly agreed. "Let's go. Getting publicly shamed isn't worth the peanuts they paid us."

"No kidding. Now that she's shown her credentials, there's no point sticking around."

"Yeah, she clearly knows her stuff."

After a brief, hushed discussion, they exchanged uneasy looks.

Without another word, they began hurriedly rolling up their protest banners, ready to bolt.

"Leaving so soon?" Alfred stepped forward, blocking their path. "What's the rush?"

"Look, it's all just a big misunderstanding."

"We won't bother you anymore, okay?"

"Yeah, you can get back to your press conference."

Seeing the situation turning against them, they tried to slip away—but it was too late.

Several police officers were already walking through the door of the conference room.

"That's them," someone called out, pointing straight at the group.

One of the officers eyed them squarely. "We've had reports of you causing a public disturbance. You'll need to come with us for questioning."

"No, wait—that's not what happened!"

"It's all a misunderstanding, officer, really!"

"We were just leaving, I swear."

"You can explain all that down at the station," the officer replied evenly.

Within moments, the small group was escorted out.

Arabella caught Alfred's eye and gave a slight nod. Alfred returned a knowing smile.

Not a word had passed between them, yet they understood each other perfectly.
