Kieran understood exactly how Gideon felt about Elena.

But Elena was already married, and no matter how strong those feelings were, crossing that line was never an option.

Gideon stared into his drink, his voice low. “Alexander doesn’t treat her well.”

“I know her,” Gideon said quietly.
