Andrea kept her head lowered, staring at the pot while listening closely for information

She said, “Let me handle it. Didn’t you just say I’m the cook?”

“You didn’t know? My chef level went up again.” Andrea made up on the spot.

“Wow, that’s awesome. You’re amazing,” the female horn beast praised.

She carried the tray out, and Andrea sat down to rest for a bit.

At that moment, the male horn beast from before walked in.

He picked up his own serving and shoveled down two quick bites. His eyes instantly lit up.

Then he handed Andrea a small pouch. “You’re on supply duty this afternoon. Bring back more good stuff.”

Andrea froze for a second, then quickly agreed. ‘Supply duty? Where exactly am I supposed to go buy supplies?‘

Andrea glanced toward the door. Who knew when the female horn beast would come back. Otherwise, she could’ve asked around for more information.

With no better option, she opened the small pouch in her hand to see what was inside.

The second Andrea looked, delight flooded her eyes. ‘I’ve struck gold,‘ she thought.
