The green–haird kid had finally arrived!

It was walking fast, its little feet moving quickly, and its words came out like machine–gun fire.

It tugged at Andrea and shoved a cloth bag into her hands.

Andrea reached inside and felt around. When she got the system confirmation, she finally felt at ease.

“Thank you!” she checked her space and inventory, then gave the kid some of Dustin’s home–cooked food and snacks, along with some apples and watermelon.

A kid’s pouch should only hold snacks, not too many gold coins.

Otherwise, neither it nor the coins would be safe. At least, that’s what Andrea believed.

So she didn’t give it money. It definitely wasn’t because she was stingy.

Fortunately, the kid loved the food. It immediately pulled out a pack of rice crackers and crunched away happily.

After saying goodbye to Andrea, it hugged its pouch and bounced home with joy.

Andrea stuffed a piece of pan–seared salmon into her mouth, grabbed some tools she’d found in the shop, and started dismantling a faucet.

She specifically chose one that was low and tucked away in a corner–hard to notice at a glance.

After carefully working on it for over ten minutes, she finally got it off intact.

She had no idea if it would work on her island, but she’d get it first and figure that out later.

Time was short. Andrea stuffed the faucet into her space and ran all the way back to the dock.

At the checkpoint, she had to register.

Fortunately, they only asked for her name and the time and didn’t give her a hard time.

She passed through without trouble and arrived at the dock.

She spotted her island immediately. Compared to the NPCs‘ islands, hers had more plants and miscellaneous items.

NPC islands were usually simple, used mainly for travel and transport.

To avoid attracting attention, Dustin had stayed in its room the entire two days the island was docked.

Fortunately, the dock had a rule that no one could board another person’s island without permission.

So no incidents had occurred these days.

Andrea’s island had its shield, so she wasn’t too worried, but if someone discovered the shield, it might cause problems.

Andrea closed her screen, handed the faucet to Dustin, and told it to try installing it.

Then she shut herself in her bedroom and turned on the temperature–control mode.
