Chapter 48
Andrea decided to open the wooden chest first.
[Opened wooden supply chest. Obtained 2 pounds of beef, I implantable tracker.]
‘Whoa, there’s actually a tracker in here. But how do you even use it?’ Andrea wondered.
She stashed it away for now, planning to figure it out later.
She decided to save the silver chest for after the competition.
‘It’s my first premium chest. Gotta take a shower and change into clean clothes before opening it, right? Andrea thought
It was already seven o’clock, and a new leaderboard popped up on the holographic screen.
Andrea checked the top ten first. ‘Nice, I’m in third place, she thought.
First place went to Kendall Fernandez from Server 7080.
Second place was Gaylord Wolfe from Server 902.
The top players on the cross-server leaderboard were all pretty close in construction points, unlike the local server
else. leaderboard where the top few had a huge lead over everyone
Andrea was 53 construction points behind the top player.
But she was sure that, like her, none of these players had revealed all their resources yet.
Most people were still holding back, waiting to catch their opponents off guard at the last minute.
Nobody really knew how many servers there were in this game. With so many players, there was no way she was the only one who’d stumbled upon something special.
Denice was a perfect example.
Andrea noticed that next to everyone’s name on the leaderboard, there was a number that kept changing
“That must be the number of likes the game was talking about,’ she thought.
The likes for the top ten players were climbing fast, and Andrea’s was going up too.
Each player got ten votes to give out, but they couldn’t vote for themselves.
After building their islands, players could snap a photo and upload it so other players could check them all we
She tapped on the picture of the number one player’s island
It didn’t look as big as Andrea’s, but it was packed with stuff
The wooden house had a fancy, luminous vibe, and there was even a plaque hanging
It read: Upright and justicel
They actually got a plaque ‘mpressive

This player had about a dozen plots of land, and Andrea couldn’t help but feel a little enviou
She still had a bunch of crops left, but not enough land to plant them.
If she threw them into random dirt, the survival rate and harvest would be nothing like planting them in plots. She ready didn’t want to waste those hard-earned seedlings.
Andrea uploaded a photo, giving everyone a look at most of her island.
What really caught people’s eye was its sheer size. It was massive.
Andrea opened the Chat Channel, and it was flooded with people asking for votes.
Some were campaigning for themselves, others were pushing their friends.
Andrea even saw a bunch of people rallying for her, with the most enthusiastic ones coming from the Happy Days group.
Jason: [Charge. Give Andrea a like. Our server has to win first place!]
Denice: [Give Andrea a like and show your proof to claim 1 ounce of jelly. 1000 spots only. First come, first served
Gwen: [I buy all my water from Andrea. She’s getting all ten of my votes!]
A person wrote: [Last time I got heatstroke and nearly kicked the bucket. Andrea found a heat relief remedy and saved mel
Another player wrote: [Me too.]
Andrea watched as her vote count soared, quickly pushing her to the top of the leaderboard.
But the next two players were catching up fast. They were just a few dozen construction points behind her.
At the Happy Days group chat.
Dominic: [Anyone know who hasn’t liked Andrea yet? Give me their names. I’ll hit them up one by one
[I’ve already messaged over 500 friends. If they don’t vote for her, I’ll keep nagging them]
The other four kept spamming thumbs-up emojis, not saying a thing.
Having over 500 friends in less than twenty days in a survival game was a real talent.
Andrea’s rank stayed at the top for about ten minutes, but then the third-place player suddenly overtook her bumpis down to second.
The construction points of the third place were catching up fast.
She guessed the top players must have loads of supporters, maybe even guilds
It was already 7:30. Andrea figured it was time to step up her game.

Andrea tossed a few seeds of ever-blooming roses at the fence, and in an instant, they sprouted sending half yare Som vines twining up the wood.
She signaled Dustin to drip a few drops of growth serum onto the roses
As soon as the serum touched the roses, within seconds, the fence bloomed with pink, white, and red flowers.
The fragrance of roses, fruit, and medicine drifted through the air.
Andrea watched as her construction points climbed by a few dozen, holding steady at second place. The top three were in a close fight.
She opened the Trading Post and put up 1200 oranges for sale.
Andrea dropped a message in the Chat Channel: [1200 oranges now available in the Trading Post. I gold com each liat one per person.
[Big thanks to everyone who’s been liking my island. If you can keep tapping that like button for me. I’d really appreciate g She sent 30 oranges to each member of the Happy Days group as a thank-you for rallying votes on her behalf.
Her friends didn’t bother replying. They dove straight back into the chat, spamming messages to hype her up and grabs
more votes.
In the Chat Channel.
A person wrote: [These oranges are incredible! I haven’t had fresh fruit in two weeks. One bite and that sweet taste totally lifted my spirits.]
Another wrote: [Same here. Andrea, all my likes are yours. Keep going. If you get more cool stuff, we’ll get to share on the goodies.]
Someone wrote: [I gave you a like too, Andrea. I wish there weren’t a limit. I could eat these all day)
Someone else wrote: [These fruits are so cheap. I love it. Already gave you a like!]
Andrea watched as the likes next to her name kept climbing fast. After a few minutes, she finally pulled ahead of the player.
But the lead wasn’t much. There were only a few dozen points separating them.
“Wait, didn’t the game say pets could boost your construction points? Andrea suddenly remembered
She called over Scar and had him stand next to the apple tree, making sure he was partially hidden behind the beaches,
Then she took a new photo and uploaded it
Sure enough, the system instantly flagged Scar as a pet.
Honestly, if one didn’t actually reach out and touch it, they would be sure that star was a real dow
Andrea’s construction points instantly jumped by 200.
Man, the system gives pets a crazy amount of points! Andréa thought

Chapter 48
No way these guys are out of tricks yet. I better see if I can grab anything else to make my place stand out she thought
She opened the Chat Channel.
Before Andrea could even say anything, she saw someone tag her.
A person wrote: [Andrea, I’ve put some furniture up in the Trading Post. See if you can use any of it.]
Another person wrote: [I’ve got some too. Look at the second-place player. Their island’s almost full. You should decorate yours more, Andrea!]
Someone wrote: [Keep it up, Andrea. Make our server proud!]
Andrea received a bunch of emails. Her friends from the Happy Days group each sent her some furniture or decorations.
There were also a few items from strangers, each with a message of encouragement attached
Even though everyone said the gifts were free, Andrea didn’t want to take them for nothing.
She didn’t accept or return the items right away. If she ended up needing them later, she’d accept them and make sure to pay everyone.
She took out all the fridges, freezers, and air conditioners from her space and arranged them wherever she could.
She stored all her food in the temperature-controlled bedroom.
Her construction points shot up by another 180.
At 7:50, while Andrea was racking up more points, Gaylord, who was in third place, suddenly shot up by 300 points,
“That was way too close,’ Andrea thought, letting out a sigh of relief. She’d almost been knocked out.
‘As I expected. These guys all have something up their sleeve,’ she mused.
With only ten minutes left and a hundred points between them, things were still way too tense.
