What She Overheard in Her Own Marriage novel Chapter 581

Noelle squeezed her eyes shut, her mind a tangled mess. She had no idea what demands to make anymore. Money? She had plenty. Power? She was useless in the corporate world now. So, what did she actually want?

Perhaps overwhelmed by stress, Noelle suddenly began to vomit, her face as pale as a sheet of hospital paper. Pearl stood by her side, taking care of her. Seeing her daughter reduced to this state over a man broke her heart.

The Sanders family owed her the bright, radiant daughter she once had. She refused to accept a daughter broken like a critical care patient.

At that moment, the flames of fury ignited within Pearl's chest.

She was just an ordinary woman. She didn't understand corporate warfare or media spin. All she knew was that a man had toyed with her daughter's feelings and then abandoned her.

By now, Noelle had drifted off to sleep, looking as if she had completely passed out with an IV drip still attached to her hand.

Pearl's anger continued to surge. Glancing at Noelle's phone on the nightstand, a bold idea popped into her head.

Using her sleeping daughter's fingerprint, she unlocked the device. Right there on the screen was a photo of a couple's backs, seemingly taken at the beach—it looked just like Finnian and her daughter.

Infuriated, Pearl tapped into the photo gallery. What she found was shocking. There were countless pictures of her daughter and Finnian. While there were a few of Rafael, Finnian dominated the collection.

Scrolling down, Pearl reached the very bottom and found over fifty photos taken before anyone was married—back when they were young and naive about love.

Looking at those images, Pearl finally seemed to understand why her daughter had fallen so hard for Finnian.

Finnian was undeniably handsome, outshining even the biggest movie stars. Compared to him, Rafael lacked that wild, untamed edge; Rafael was gentle and humble, but young girls always preferred the Finnian type. He exuded a commanding, predatory aura that was impossible to ignore.

Pearl flipped through the photos one by one. In one, Noelle was wearing a hospital gown, having asked Finnian to snap a selfie of them. Finnian's face was visible, and Noelle was curled up against his leg like a kitten, looking into the lens. Finnian's fingers rested casually on her arm—natural, yet laced with the undeniable sexual tension of youth.

Next was a picture from a hot spring trip. Both were dressed in revealing swimwear, standing face-to-face and splashing water at each other. The splashing water captured the seductive tension of young love. Finnian didn't block the water when Noelle splashed him; he merely smiled and turned his head.

Then there was a photo taken in the garden of the old Sanders estate, featuring a newly built swing. Noelle was wearing a lake-green vintage dress, and Finnian was pushing her from behind. She tilted her head back to look at him, and they were both laughing.

She didn't know anything about editing, background music, or subtitle effects. She just had the photos strung together and, using her media connections, uploaded them to several smaller gossip sites.

She wanted everyone to see exactly what kind of man Finnian Sanders was. Included in the release was a clip with audio—The Swing Video.

In it, Finnian smiled and said with concern, "Careful, don't fall."

The teenage Noelle looked back at him, smiling brightly. "If I fall, you'll catch me, right?"

"I will," Finnian promised with a laugh. Pearl had the video editor amplify that "I will" countless times, ensuring everyone heard exactly what Finnian had promised.

Once the video was finished, Pearl had it uploaded to various media accounts, spending a good chunk of money to promote it.

At first, the small media outlets and gossip sites had no idea who the young couple was. Pearl simply told them the man was a jerk who had played with the girl's feelings and deserved to be exposed.
