When Cassienne couldn’t give a reply to Daisy. Things got more interesting because Daisy wouldn’t let
go too.
And just like Cassienne already knows. Daisy opened her mouth to say another word, but she was cut off
with Cassienne’s words.
“Yes, Corren kissed me. Are you happy now?” She snapped.
A sudden silence fell into the large office. Daisy’s smiling died down immediately. And it was replaced with something else. Shock, maybe. 1
“Stop looking at me like that.” Cassienne stood up and walked away from her desk.
Daisy turned towards her direction while still sitting there on the chair.
“You actually kissed Corren?” Daisy asked. But she didn’t wait for Cassienne to reply. “That was the second time Corren kissed you, Cassienne. That man surely has interest in you.”
Cassienne scoffed. “I am sure that is what he does with other women too.”
Daisy couldn’t believe that Cassienne was already sounding jealous. She stood up and stepped closer to Cassienne. She took one of her hands in hers and she locked eyes with Cassienne as she spoke.
“Unfortunately, Corren is not a flirt.” She began. “If he kissed you, it only means one thing. He likes you. I know that you just got out of one relationship. But I think you should give Corren a chance.”
Cassienne yanked her hand away and stepped away from Daisy. She turned her back to her. “I am sorry, I can’t go into another relationship right now. I just want to live.”
Daisy laughed out loud. And Cassienne turned to look at her crazy friend. “What’s funny?”
“You.” Daisy said, “you are funny. You want to live? Are you kidding me? You can’t live like me, Cassienne. You’re not cut for my kind of life,”
“Why? Because I am still a virgin?” Cassienne frowned. “I want to know what sex feels like. I am not a child, Daisy. But I am not stupid to want to go into another relationship right now. I want to be like you. Do whatever I want without anyone telling me what I should do.”
Daisy got serious now. “You are serious about this, don’t you?”
“One hundred percent.”. Cassienne replied.
Daisy stepped closer to her. “Then do it with Corren. I know he might not agree to it.”
“Why?” Cassienne asked immediately.
“Because he is the relationship kind of man.” Daisy replied. “But give it a try. I hope he accepts. “Daisy
concluded.

Cassienne just listened and looked at her.
“Anyways, enough of your sex life. Can we just go and get ready for tonight’s party? I need to get laid tonight.” Daisy said and Cassienne felt her cheeks flushed again.
How can someone just talk about sex so casually as if it was nothing.
Cassienne still couldn’t understand how Corren runs his company. It seemed to her like the man was too simple and too nice. Other CEOs she knew were not as close to their staff as Corren was close to his.
Maybe it’s just the development department that he is like this with. She couldn’t believe that they had chosen the best club in Southvale. The club is the most expensive hangout around. And the thing was, this very club was the very place Dreston and his friends usually hung out.
“Finally, Cassienne, you came.” She purred like a child.
Cassienne forced out a smile and hugged Daisy back. Then she whispered to her ear. Do you plan on holding me this long, Daisy?”
Daisy beamed. Then she let go.
But as Daisy returned to her seat. Cassienne smiled at everyone. Hi guys, I am sorry i-”
She couldn’t finish her statement when someone bumped into her, causing her to trip down.
“Ouch, watch it.” Cassienne spoke, her eyes closed as she waited for her body to land on the floor.
But before she could reach the floor. A strong arm caught her by her waist on time. Her hands clutching at the shirt of the person.
Gasped mixed with the soft music blend together.
Cassienne finally opened her eyes. But she was shocked when she realised who had bumped into her.
But the real shock was the person who saved her from falling.
Dreston stood there, holding her by her waist. His grey eyes were fixed on her.
