When the GF9 Test Subject Became His Obsession novel Chapter 133

Sebastian hesitated for a moment, then pulled out his phone and transferred $20,000 to the girl.

Her tone instantly brightened. “Then if you feel even a little unwell, you have to tell me. I’m your private doctor—I’ll make sure nothing goes wrong.”

Sebastian’s handsome face twitched. “Mm.”

A bit frustrating.

Serena knocked on the event room door. Kelly opened it—and saw Serena… and the man standing behind her.

The air at the doorway froze solid.

For a split second, Kelly actually wanted to slam the door shut. But under the man’s gaze, her hand refused to obey. Her body, too, felt frozen.

“I’m here.”

Her voice was clear and light. The others playing cards turned to look—and saw a clean, lovely girl standing in the doorway.

“Craig, your cousin’s kinda hot,” one of the guys commented.

In Quinton’s eyes, women fell into two categories: the first, like Kelly, were beneficial—worth currying favor with. He could lower himself a bit for women like that.

The second kind? Pretty playthings. Good for fooling around with, like Serena.

The rest weren’t even women in his eyes. Not worth a second glance.

Craig’s expression turned cold. “She’s part of the Morrow family.”

Quinton gave a smile and said nothing, but his gaze was sharp and wicked.

Craig suddenly regretted bringing Serena at all.

Sure, with him around, even Quinton wouldn’t dare touch her… but what if she was willing?

She was from the countryside, after all—probably hadn’t seen much of the world. How could she resist temptation?

He stood up and personally arranged a seat for Serena, deliberately keeping her far from Quinton.

Only then did the others notice the man who had followed Serena inside.

Craig froze.

“A friend. Just here to hang out,” Serena said casually.

She even arranged a seat for Sebastian—well away from Kelly.

Kelly’s face turned green.

If she told everyone in this room that this was the SVIP they were all desperate to connect with, what would happen?

But no way she was letting Serena have that kind of glory.

The man had presence. The watch on his wrist alone was worth millions. Even Quinton instinctively reined in his gaze, giving Serena a rare moment of respect.

A friend of the school nurse?

Of course—how could Serena possibly know anyone powerful?
