When the GF9 Test Subject Became His Obsession novel Chapter 66

Celeste nodded.

After school that afternoon, Serena stepped out of the teaching building and spotted Celeste waiting for her. “Serena, we need to talk.”

The moment Celeste opened her mouth, Serena caught a whiff of something rotten.

“Fine.” Serena followed her to a milk tea shop.

Celeste warmly brought over two cups, smiling so sweetly she looked completely harmless.

She offered Serena a chocolate one, but Serena didn’t take it.

“What’s wrong? Afraid I poisoned it?” Celeste teased.

“I’m not afraid you poisoned it,” Serena replied. “I’m afraid you don’t have Kennedy’s tolerance.”

Celeste’s face darkened instantly.

At the mention of Kennedy, she lost all appetite for her favorite milk tea.

She set her cup aside. “I asked you here to get you to convince Thanos and Solstice to give up their athletic scholarship consideration spots. All their fussing is pointless.”

“If that’s it, there’s no need to keep talking.” Serena stood. “You have nothing else to say?”

“No.” Celeste watched her leave, then sent a message to Hector and the others: She’s on her way out.

This milk tea shop was a bit out of the way—Celeste had chosen it on purpose. She didn’t need to lift a finger. A few grown men couldn’t handle one girl walking alone at night? All she had to do was sit there and enjoy the show.

Sure enough, as soon as she hit send, she saw six men step out of a car across the street—even the one missing a testicle wasn’t passing up this chance.

They strode in the direction Serena had gone.

By tomorrow, the internet would be buzzing with stories about a certain girl caught with members of the state basketball team. One post like that would ruin Serena for life.

In the end, Celeste decided she had to take matters into her own hands.

Hector hadn’t expected it to be this easy to catch their prey.

They didn’t need to ask to know Serena hadn’t come willingly—Celeste had lured her here. That only made their predatory instincts stronger.

Six tall figures blotted out the light, but it didn’t stop them from admiring the prize in front of them.

In the hazy moonlight, her face was flawless, her waist slim enough to span with two hands, and her long, perfect legs like something out of a manga—better than anything they’d seen in porn. “Legs worth a lifetime,” as the saying went.

Just imagining tearing off her clothes and—

Gulp. They all swallowed without realizing it.

Sebastian stood in the darkness, reaching out to the delicate figure in the middle. “Come here.”

Serena walked over, kicking two men in the groin along the way without even slowing down.

Seeing her unharmed, not even a strand of her princess braids out of place, Sebastian finally relaxed.

When she reached him and saw his outstretched hand, she didn’t move.

“Five hundred thousand dollars a month,” the man said suddenly.

Serena’s hand dropped into his—small, but it filled his palm completely.

Sebastian didn’t dare squeeze too hard, afraid of hurting her delicate skin. He didn’t look at her either, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. He simply took in the cool warmth of her touch, the faint scent of her skin, the smooth softness that sent a chain reaction through every cell.

It felt so good, as if it could drive away every shadow.

“I know your medical skills are limited,” he said quietly. “You don’t have to lie about curing me. I just need you by my side.”

Serena was speechless. If I told you I could actually cure you, you probably wouldn’t believe me.

The summer heat made the man’s palm sweat. She normally hated picking up other people’s scent, but his wasn’t so bad. And for five hundred thousand dollars a month, she could put up with it.
