When The Moon Hides Her Crown (Seraphina) by Pooja novel Chapter 275

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

Noshe gasped, her lungs burning as she fought the current, her limbs aching from the struggle.

She could not control her body from being taken by the current and for a moment she thought that the river had almost claimed her, and that she would be drawn to death but with one final surge of strength, she pushed herself onto the bank.

Her body trembled from exhaustion and she gasped harder with her heart beating like a wild horse. She collapsed onto the damp earth, blinking against the cold mist, trying to steady her breath.

After a long time she slowly pushed herself up, and looked around her eyes widened in shock. The trees around her were unfamiliartwisted, dark, and looming. The scent of the forest was strange, and the air felt too foreign.

Where am I?Petal whispered, her voice shaking as she realized with horror that she had been swept far from her territory into an unknown place. In the past twenty years, she had never left the temple, and the outside world was a mystery to her. Now, where she found herself felt like a completely different world.

With wide eyes, she took in her surroundingseerily quiet and unfamiliaruntil her gaze fell on a rabbit with one leg short.

Rob?she gasped, recognition flooding her. You’re here too? Did you fall into the water with me?She rushed closer to the rabbit, which darted away as soon as it spotted her. She chased after it, running deeper into the woods, but suddenly the rabbit vanished, leaving behind only a trail of smoke rising between the trees.

Rob, no!she called out, pushing forward to catch up. As she passed through the smoke, a sudden, terrifying roar echoed through the forest, making her freeze. She turned, her heart racing, as the sound vibrated through the trees. Her hand instinctively went to her chest as she tried to calm her frantic heartbeat. She had never heard such a roar in her life.

Sensing that the forest was dangerous, she quickly used her powers to track Rob’s presence in the smoke. In an instant, she pinpointed his location behind three trees ahead. With a quiet breath, she moved swiftly, reaching for the rabbit with lightning speed. But just as her fingers closed around it, a chilling presence made her freeze in place.

Two large shadows emerged from the smoke curling around the trees. Her breath hitched, and her eyes widened in terror as she looked up at the beasts standing on two feet. She had seen werewolves before, but these were differentfar more menacing, with an aura of power and danger.

Petal took a step back in horror, her heart pounding in her chest as the creatures growled low and menacingly.

Capture this intruder alive!a man yelled from behind, his voice sharp and commanding.

Petal turned to run, panic flooding her every move, but in the blink of an eye, two of the beasts caught her.

NO!!!she screamed, wriggling violently in their grasp as her rabbit disappeared into the smoke. LET ME GO! LET ME GO!!!Her frantic cries filled the air as she looked desperately at the man who had shouted the orders, watching him walk closer.

She is neither human nor werewolf, the man said, studying her with a frown. But at least she is a woman, so it will doHe groaned and then barked an order, Take her to him.”

Her stomach dropped as the beasts began dragging her away. NO!! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?! LET GO!! LET GO!!!Her heart raced, and her powers surged close to the surface, ready to erupt and destroy them all. But in that moment, Silas’s warning flashed through her mind, a sharp reminder that froze her.

Never use your powers around others, or you will fall into great trouble. The world must not know the existence of the Blood Petal, or they will become greedy for your powers.

Chapter 275 The Beast

Her glowing hands dimmed instantly as she recalled his words, her powers retreating at his warning. She couldn’t risk it. Yet, despite the terror, she couldn’t stop screaming, couldn’t stop wriggling in their tight grip as they dragged her deeper into the forest.

The next moment, Petal found herself dragged into a castle. Dark, foreboding, and dangerously cold, it felt like a nightmare she couldn’t escape.

NO!! NOOOO!!!she screamed, managing to wriggle out of their grasp for a brief moment. But before she could run, they caught her again, their grip tightening as they hauled her up the stairs and shoved her into a

room.

She fell hard onto the stone floor as the door slammed shut behind her. WAIT! NO!!She scrambled to her feet and ran to the door, banging her fists against it, her voice raw from shouting. “NO!! NOOO!!! OPEN THE DOOR!! OPEN THE DOOR!!she screamed until her throat was sore.

But then, a growl sounded from behind her.

Her breath caught, and she froze in place. Slowly, she turned around, her eyes wide with fear. A massive beast stood before her, far taller and more dangerous than the ones she had seen earlier.

Instinctively, she pressed her back against the door, her heart hammering in her chest as if it would explode. The beast inched closer, slow and predatory, its presence radiating a strange heat, like it was burning from the inside.

Petal’s whole body tensed, every muscle frozen with something that she could not explain in words. She couldn’t look away as it moved toward her, caging her between its massive frame and the door. Her breaths came faster, rising and falling in panic.

Its violet eyes locked onto hers, intense and mesmerizing, drawing her in. His gaze softened slightly when he saw the fear in her red eyes, and for a moment, the beast seemed less threatening, less wild. But the pain, the need, the lust in his own violet eyes only heightened the tension. His presence was a strange mixture of longing and danger that made her pulse race.

Slowly, the beast began to shift, and Petal’s heart quickened in her chest. She held her breath, her body tensing as the massive creature in front of her began to fade. In its place stood a tall man, his powerful frame now filling the space between her and the door, his naked chest pressing against hers.

Her wide eyes traced over his otherworldly handsomeness, drinking in the sharp angles of his jaw, the deep violet of his eyes, and the raw intensity that radiated from him. But what struck her most was how familiar his lips lookedsomething about them seemed strangelyfamiliar to her.
