When The Moon Hides Her Crown (Seraphina) by Pooja novel Chapter 297

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

With Blood Petal and Dread Lord gone, the once-thriving flower garden withered into barrenness, and the river that once cascaded down the cliffs dried up.

Blood Petal’s protectors’ cries echoed through the temple, their sorrow so profound that the very walls seemed to tremble in sympathy. Silas, in the worst condition among them, sat still as a corpse, his eyes hollow with grief. Far away, in the desolate expanse of no man’s land, Aran remained unchanged, consumed by his own despair. The will to live had drained from all of them.

The temple, once a sanctuary of strength and solace, now stood as a prison for their shattered hearts. What had been a place of reverence and peace had crumbled into ruins. And within those ruins, the protectors, those who had been born only to protect Blood Petal from her heartbreak, had chosen the punishment of becoming statues for centuries, forever trapped in a silent testament to their brokenness. While the ruin disappeared from the world’s eyes.

Felix unable to get over his grief, never opened his mouth mouth again and turned completely mute. He became a shadow around Dread and Petal’s son and the lycan bloodline for nine hundred years.

Meanwhile, Ryker barely crawled out of the dark puddle, his body aching, covered in the remnants of his defeat. Since the dark magic could not be killed to maintain the balance between the good and evil that heaven had created, Ryker did not die. However the curse put on him by Petal made his existence worse than a worm.

Groaning in pain, he crawled and stumbled toward the flower garden, his chest tight with anger, loss, and a bitter sense of defeat. His eyes landed on the white flower, the very symbol of what he could never have.

“How could you…HOW COULD YOU!!!!” he roared.

Petal, Blood Petal, had sacrificed herself for Dread, and now he would never possess her, never claim her as his own.

“AAAAAHHHHHH!!”

Ryker fell to his knees before the flower, his cry echoing through the silent air, a cry of defeat, anger, and the crushing pain of loss. No matter how much he tried he could not remember what she looked like. With the curse placed on him, his memory of Dread and Petal’s baby was completely erased, it had even deprived him of the memory of her smell and touch. Until he became nothing but an empty shell.

His mind shattered, and for a moment, he lost his sense of purpose. He thought of ending it all. The defeat was too much for him to handle. Until heaven’s light fell upon the Blood Petal, and the flower glowed, almost as if granting a wish.
