When The Moon Hides Her Crown (Seraphina) by Pooja novel Chapter 306

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

With Alpha Hugo lying on the floor, his chest bleeding, and Jude screaming Grace’s name like a madman, the chaos in the Grand Hall escalated to new heights. Aran’s shock mirrored that of Alpha Darious, Spencer, and Mace. Alpha Gideon had stayed with Grace to protect her and had decided to help from the outside of the palace. They had been meant to be safer than the others, but against all expectations Ryker had killed them.

Spencer let out a shaky breath, his voice trembling. “They were supposed to be protected by Seraphina’s powers, like the rest of us, from Ryker’s dark magic. So, how…?”

His confusion and horror were reflected in the faces of Alpha Darious, Mace, and the others. Ronan’s veins bulged as he stared at the lifeless bodies of Alpha Gideon and Grace, the horrifying realization settling in as he pinned Dante to the ground.

“They weren’t killed by dark magic,” Ronan said, his voice tight with realization.

Seraphina’s power could have protected them against Ryker’s dark magic, but Gideon and Grace had been killed without it.

Dante quickly recovered and lunged at Ronan, a vicious sneer on his face. “As usual, you’ve used that smart brain,” he hissed. “Another reason I wanted to kill a motherfucker like you.”

Hugo closed his eyes in sorrow, the weight of the loss settling heavily in his chest. He wasn’t surprised; Gideon had thrown himself in front of Grace when Ryker had gone to strike her. That was why he had been killed so brutally.

“GRACE!!!” Jude’s voice cracked, breaking through the chaos as he rushed toward Grace’s lifeless body. But before he could reach her, Aran intervened, blocking him with a surge of his powers.

“No, stop him!” Aran shouted, his voice strained as he struggled to control his power. He couldn't let Jude rush toward Ryker, he would never survive.

Just then, an invisible force stopped Jude in his tracks, freezing him where he stood. His desperate cry for Grace echoed in the hall. “GRACE!!!”

Everyone’s gaze shifted toward the figure that had appeared and stopped Jude in his tracks.

“Felix!” Mace gasped, recognizing the old wizard.

“Get him out of here!” Felix urged Mace, his voice urgent.

In that moment, with Jude having lost his soulmate, words alone wouldn’t calm him.

Ronan glanced briefly at Seraphina, only to see Dante already stepping onto the raised platform.

“Miss me, darling?” Dante grinned wickedly, charging at Seraphina.

Seraphina met his gaze with a smirk of her own. “It’s ridiculous to think you’re so important that I’d even remember you, let alone miss you.”

Dante’s face twisted in fury. “You still have that bitchy mouth, huh? I can’t wait to see how that pretty mouth cries my name when I fuck you to death.” He shifted into his wolf form, pouncing on her.

306. MISS ME? 3

Ryker grinned. “Looks like your ritual’s broken again, my little flower.”

Seraphina’s gaze burned with fury. Her ritual had indeed failed, and now the moon was barely visible in the sky, her energy completely tainted.
