Nothing mattered anymore.

I didn’t want Lucian anymore.

That was why I had called Lucian to come to the Moonlit Brew.

I wanted to make it clear to both of them this time.

I had to do this to stop both of them from disturbing my life.

“Ayla, I have severed the bond with Lucian. Afterward, whatever he leaves at your place, you can keep it for yourself. After all, the best place for garbage is the recycling center.”

After saying that, I no longer stayed but left immediately.

Before I left, I did not even cast a glimpse at Lucian. However, just as I passed by him, Lucian grabbed me by the

wrist.

My face turned gloomy. I started struggling to get rid of him immediately.

But the harder I struggled, the tighter Lucian held my wrist.

He exerted such great force that my wrist bones almost be crushed but he showed no trace of pity.

The pain hit me, and my eyes were tinged with anger. I snapped, “Lucian, let go! Are you deaf or something? Didn’t you hear Ayla say that I didn’t do anything to her this time?”

Lucian turned a deaf ear. With a straight face, he pulled me with him and strode toward the door of the Moonlit

Brew.

I struggled to break free but eventually gave up. I could do nothing but walk out with Lucian.

On the way, I silently counted, “One, two…”

Before I could even count to “three”, Ayla’s weak cry came from behind, “Lucian…”

Immediately after, there was a “thud” sound. Ayla, fainted.

Lucian’s footsteps immediately came to a halt. Then, Lucian loosened his grip on my wrist, without a second thought. He quickly turned around and rushed towards Ayla on the ground.

“Ayla!” he ran toward her.

Even without looking back, I could imagine how nervous Lucian’s expression was.

It was completely different from the indifference and mockery on his face when I fainted yesterday. That was all because he loved her but not me.

I stood still. My gaze fell on the visible red mark around my wrist, and my lips curled into a self-mocking smile.

This was not the first time Lucian chose Ayla over me.

However, it was the last time.
