Ayla’s smile deepened, her gaze softening as she looked at her daughter.

She seized the opportunity and approached.

Lucian held Willow in his arms. As she leaned in, they were incredibly close. So close that she could even feel his

breath on her face.

Ayla’s face flushed, and she shyly glanced at Lucian.

My heart pounded. It felt like my eyes were doing the talking.
