Chapter 33

Claim 50 Coins By Check in

Mothe

I was dizzy from the slap.

Under the dim light, the man glanced at my face, rubbing his hands together with a lecherous smile. “Be good. And things will be easier for both of us.”

He lunged at me.

“Let me go. I can give you anything you want? Silver coins?”

I was shocked and panicked but tried to stay calm and negotiate with the man.

“Silver coins? That isn’t what I want. You know what I want? I want you, you beauty.”

The man stayed still, gazing at me lecherously, leaning in for a kiss.

I quickly moved aside.

His lips touched my cheek, and a foul odor emitting from the stranger filled my nose, making me feel sick. My voice was hoarse from screaming, but I didn’t want to stop trying.

I fought hard, kicking and thrashing.

But the man spread my legs and pressed his body against mine.

I couldn’t move. His eyes were filled with a lascivious glint. The sound of fabric tearing filled the air.

The man roughly yanked at the shirt beneath my coat, growing increasingly wild and aggressive in his actions.

“Get lost! Keep your hands off me!” I yelled fiercely.

But I couldn’t stop the man, despite my efforts. My wolf was trying to send the message, hoping someone could

receive it and come here to save me.

His rough hand came closer, like a snake coiling around me, making me shiver in disgust.

“No!” I appeared utterly despaired.

Just as the man seemed about to kiss me, I suddenly felt the oppressive weight lift off me.

Lucian, who had just arrived, kicked the man off me.

With a loud growl, he hit the wall. The man groaned in pain, falling to the ground, spitting blood.

One kick from an Alpha King was enough to leave him powerless.

Lucian looked intimidating, striding over to the man with a serious face.

He lifted the man effortlessly, punching him repeatedly with his sharp claws, each hit strong.

The man was beaten to the brink of death, thrown to the ground, unconscious and barely breathing.

I gazed at Lucian’s towering, upright back, feeling lightheaded. This reminded me of when I was fourteen.

I had moved to the Ironfang Pack with my foster mother at the age of eight. Lucian’s grandmother, Calista, treated me with exceptional kindness.

Even though my foster mother worked as a maid, Calista cherished me as if I were her own granddaughter.

Calista cared for me even more than she did for Selene, her own granddaughter.

Having once been skinny from my time in the refugee, I grew up as a strikingly graceful and attractive young Omega within a few years.

One day, some bullies from another pack singled me out and dragged me into a hidden place.

As they menacingly threatened me, Lucian burst onto the scene.

Alone, he pummeled the bullies until they were left gasping for breath.

Then he gently lifted me from where I had been cowering and weeping, his voice firm as he directed, “Go over

there.”

I was still scared, my body tense, reacting slowly. Hearing him, I looked confused.

Lucian said in a cold, steely tone, “Kick them hard.”

His command made me shrink back in fear.

I was terrified.

Lucian’s brow furrowed as he gently tugged me back and then gave me a little push forward, his face set with determination.”Don’t be nervous. Seren, if anyone even thinks about hurting you, you fight back as hard as you can. Don’t hold back, even if it means you have to kill them. And trust me, I’ll have your back. No matter what happens, I’ll make sure you’re okay. No one could ever hurt you in my Pack. Those are my words.”

Betrayed by her mate, she chooses rebirth and revenge.
