Chapter 145 The Aftermath of Truth
“From the moment you came back to me, I knew you weren’t the real Tiffany.”
Tiffany opened her mouth, but she didn’t have the strength left to speak.
“Splash.”
A bucket of cold water hit her square in the face.
Talk
“Heh… Mr. Wellington. Does it really matter who I am? If I’m Michelle, does that mean you don’t love me anymore?
“Your wife’s birthday? You spent it at my place.
“She was in the hospital? You called every specialist in the city to come see me.
“I frowned once, and you left her stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
“Hahaha…
“Men. You’re all trash, and somehow it’s still our fault.
“What did I even do wrong? I just helped women see through pieces of garbage like you sooner. Gave them a reason to walk away and live their own lives.
“Scum like you? I did nothing wrong.”
She was lying on the floor, using every last bit of energy she had left to tear him apart.
“It was you. You’re the reason I lost Amelia.
“Give her back to me.”
Jaron lost it. He kicked her over and over.
The only sounds in the room were his shouting and the sickening crack of bones breaking.
By the time Tiffany blacked out, all she could hear were voices screaming at her.
“You borrowed sixty million from me back then. Thought I’d just write it off since you were ‘dead‘. Pay up.
Now.
“Cheap bones on this one. I barely even started and they’re all broken already.”
“Give me back my virginity! The whole internet knows I lost it to Michelle. I’m twenty–five. You were fifty. How do you even live with yourself?”

Azure General Hospital.

Leo never expected Elias to call him first. Just to tell him one thing: fix Michelle. Letting her die would be
too easy.
But a woman in her seventies with eleven broken ribs and internal bleeding everywhere? Who could guarantee she’d make it?
“Leo.”
His eyes were glazed over. His voice was dead. “Coming. I’m coming.
His own life mattered too, damn it.
While Michelle was busy recovering, Stella finally found time to go shopping with Amelia.
“Amelia, let’s pick out some stuff for Elias.”
Stella looked at the mountain of shopping bags and felt a little embarrassed.
She never realized how hard it was to say no to people who cared about you.
Kenneth bought her an entire wardrobe. Her dad filled a whole room. Elias had some famous designer make her a year’s worth of custom clothes. Her aunt said girls needed to be spoiled and just handed her a clothing brand for her to run, just to stop by whenever and take whatever she wanted.
When Frederick found out, he got jealous. Even though he hated shopping, he made her promise to save a day so he could take her out himself.
She wanted to tell them she didn’t even like shopping that much.
But their kindness… It was a kind of warmth she’d never really felt before. Not since her mom.
Amelia raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “Missing him already?”
Stella shook her head, but her ears went pink. “No.”
‘Then you pick. I’ll pay.”
‘He’s my boyfriend. I’m paying.”
‘Stella, let me give you some advice. Don’t spoil a man too much.”
Stella smiled softly. “I’m spoiling your brother.”
“That kid really hit the jackpot. Finding someone like you? He must have saved the world in a past life.”
Amelia cupped Stella’s face in her hands, her smile bright. But for just a second, something sad flickered in
her eyes.
Nicole. I’ll spoil her twice as much. Ten times as much.
Stella’s cheeks flushed a little as she smiled. She carefully picked out a few suits, some cufflinks, a couple of

ties.
Then she thought about it and grabbed some things for everyone else too.
“Use this card.”
Stella froze. The card in her hand hovered in the air as she turned to look at the man standing next to her.
“Jaron. Don’t you dare come here with that.”
Amelia shoved him away, anger flashing in her eyes.
‘Amelia. I’m sorry. I was an idiot. I believed that old woman.”
“Get lost. Now.”
‘Give me another chance. Let’s give our kid a real family. Please?”
