“Dad, I’ve decided to marry Elias as soon as we get back to Azure Peak. What do you think?”
Stella looked at him earnestly.
Jasper gently stroked her head, his eyes soft. “You want to get married so soon?”
She nodded firmly. “I do.”
“Then go ahead.”
“Okay.”
Stella’s eyes were full of hope.
She had never imagined marriage before. But Elias made her believe the world was not so cruel.
“Dad, let’s practice walking down the aisle now, okay?”
“Alright.”
Sunlight spilled over the corridor of the garden. Stella linked her arm through his and walked slowly.
She hummed the wedding march.
Father and daughter both smiled happily.
Mark watched from afar, looking envious. “Daughters really are the sweetest.”
Leo glanced at him and smiled. “Dad, I can link arms with you too.”
“Let go. Don’t be so cheesy.”
Mark pulled a face and hurried toward the dining room.
Leo grinned, hands in his pockets, and followed.
Jasper and Stella sat down.

The family had not known such simple happiness in a long time.
He was getting on in years, and he simply loved having his family’s young ones close.
“Stella, you’ve been in the library every day these days?”
“Yes, Granduncle.”
Oswald smiled kindly. “If you like those medical books, make a copy and take them with you.”
Everyone was shocked.
The Corbin medical books were passed down for generations, never shared or taken out of the library.
Yet Oswald was letting her take them.
“I’ve seen your talent. If those books help you save more lives, it’s a good deed.”
Stella was overjoyed. “Thank you, Granduncle.”
She stood and bowed deeply.
The meal was warm and peaceful.
The next morning.
Stella boarded the plane. The Corbin villas grew smaller as they flew over the blue sea toward Vosshire’s private airport.
Leo looked down. “Wow! Someone’s proposing on the beach.”
Everyone looked out.
As the plane landed, the beach came into full view.
Stella’s eyes widened.
Red roses spelled out words in the sand: “Stella, I love you.”
“Stella, could that Stella be you?” Leo teased.
“I don’t think so,” Stella said. Elias said he’d pick me up, but not like this.

But secretly, she hoped it was true.
Stella stepped off the plane and saw a familiar figure.
Elias wore a tailored suit, holding white tulips, waving at her.
“Dad, it’s Elias.”
“Go on.”
Stella ran toward him. Elias ran to meet her.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up.
Jasper watched with a satisfied smile.
“No wonder Elias has a girlfriend. He knows how to make an entrance.” Leo gave a thumbs–up.
“Then learn from him,” Mark said.
Leo immediately fell silent.
When Jasper and the others approached, Elias gently set Stella down.
“Mr. Moore, I’m asking for your permission to marry Stella. I will never betray her.”
Jasper placed their hands together.
“My daughter can’t stand even a little hurt. If you ever fail her, send her back to me. Don’t ignore her. I want her loved every single day.”
“Mr. Moore, I promise. I’ll make her happy.”
Stella smiled. “I’ll make you happy too.”
Their eyes were full of affection.
“Stella, let’s get married.”
“Okay.”
“Let’s go. The city hall is this way.”
Stella frowned slightly in confusion.
Five minutes later, they reached the beach.

It was decorated like a wedding scene: blue ocean, white sand, red roses, a shell stage, and silk fluttering in the wind.
A table stood there, with two officials in suits.
“Elias… who are they?”
“Officials from the Azure Peak City Hall.”
Even Stella was shocked.
Leo laughed. “Elias, you moved the entire city hall office here?”
“They’re on a morning official trip.”
Elias held her hands tightly, gazing at her sincerely. “Stella, I donated to the city hall in our name.”
