Chapter 22 

Lester, who had never looked after anyone before, was stuck 

He did a quick search and found that the most effective way to get her to take it was via mouth–to–mouth feeding. 

He felt awkward. He wouldn’t date offend Daphne like that. All he could do was carefully place the spoon against her lips insistantly. 

Daphne felt something damp against her lips. Her mouth was parched, and she wanted water. She started drinking it on her own accord. 

She hadn’t taken much before it was finished, and then the spoon came back 

Attertwo more spoonfuls, Daphne became annoyed. Why was the water there one moment and then gone the next? Why was she being teased? 

She was so angry that she opened her eyes to see a handsome man who looked very familiar. 

“Hey, who are you? Where did you come from?” 

She lifted her hand and flirtatiously tilted his chin 

Lester set the spoon aside and tried to keep her from moving her anns around so much. 

To Daphne, everything felt like a dream. In real life, she’d never dare make a move on a handsome man, but surely she could have fun in a dream. She used all her strength and pulled him onto the bed, flipping them so he was beneath her. 

“Daphne, you……” 

“Shh, don’t speak” Daphne felt the man looked more and more familiar. “Have we met before?” 

With his face tuming red, Lester stammered, “W–we. we’ve met. I in Lester.” 

At the same time, his hands didn’t know where to go. He was trying hot to touch her. 

“Lester. That name sounds so familiar. It must be fate. It’s like we we known each other forever.” 

Daphne lowered her head, trying to peck him on the lips. Lestertracted quickly and placed his hand between them. 

Her warm lips landed on his palm. Daphne stuckher tongue out wod licled it. It tasted kind of sweet, 

The tingling sensation made Lester yank his hand back as though he’d been electrocuted, “You… Daphne, snap out of it.” Instead of calming down, she became bolder as she pressed her hands over his chest “Lester, don’t you like me? 

Her hands slid downward. “Or am I not pretty enough to attract you? 

“Ngh 

Lester couldn’t help letting out a sound. 

“Ade… are you serious?”
