They arrived at the Blue Water Residential Area. Shayne was sitting on the passenger seat leisurely. He crossed his legs on his seat, not planning to get down immediately.
Yanny was unbuckling her seatbelt. She glanced at him and reminded him, “Master Shayne, we’re home. You need to get out of the car now.”
“Help me unbuckle my seatbelt.”
Yanny was speechless.
“The seatbelt is right next to you. Feel for it.”
Shayne frowned and said in an unfriendly tone, “I’m blind now and you’re the reason I turned into a blind person. Are you trying to avoid your responsibility?”
Yanny helped him unbuckle his seatbelt. She exited the car, walked past the front of the car, and opened the door on the passenger seat to help him out.
“Lift your legs. Be careful.”
Jinn became blind all of a sudden, so he found it hard to adapt to a lot of things. He was surely suffering, but thinking that he could enslave Yanny, he did not mind becoming blind for a few more days.
Yanny helped the blind guy into the lift. They met a lady staying on the same floor as them after entering the lift.
“Oh, what happened to this young man’s eyes? Is he blind?”
Shayne saying that he was blind himself was a different thing compared to when other people said it.
Shayne was a short-tempered guy. Anger rose in him when he heard the lady’s surprised tone and retorted, “You’re blind. Your whole family is blind.”
“Tsk, why are you so mean? I’m just caring for you. Why are you cursing me? Ask your girlfriend for her opinion. Isn’t he such an evil guy?”
Seeing that a fight was going to break out between Shayne and the lady, Yanny became the peacemaker. He whispered to Shayne, “Come on, don’t get serious about her.”
Shayne put one of his hands on Yanny’s shoulder. He was raging and asked, “Whose side are you on?”
“Of course I’m on your side.”
“And that’s the attitude you’re giving me?”
Shayne’s eyes were covered in gauze. He was a patient yet his temper did not seem like he was ill at all.
He sounded so arrogant.
Fortunately, they arrived at the 13th floor shortly after. Yanny helped Jinn out of the elevator and walked toward their home.
Yanny opened the door and changed into her slippers. Shayne could not see, so Yanny put a pair of men’s slippers next to him and helped him put them on.
Then, she helped Shayne to the sofa.
After Shayne settled down, Yanny took off her sling bag and tossed it on the sofa. She said, “Sit here while I make you some steamed fish.”
They had a semi-open kitchen, so Yanny would occasionally steal glances at Shayne and checked whether he needed help while she was cooking.
Shayne felt bored sitting on the sofa. He stood up and fumbled in the air like a blind person.
He would occasionally wave his hands in front of his eyes to check whether he could see clearly.
Yanny thought he looked funny. She said, “Just rest well these few days and you’ll regain your vision in no time. If you pressure yourself too much, it’ll affect your recovery.”
Shayne was fumbling around without any purpose. Yanny lowered her head and was focused on cooking. Then, she heard a bang.
She lifted her head and saw a 180cm tall man frowning in pain because he knocked his knee against the coffee table.
Yanny rushed over to him immediately and helped him up to the sofa, “Didn’t I ask you to stay still? Are you hyperactive? Does it hurt a lot?”
Shayne gritted his teeth and roared at her angrily, “What bulls*it are you talking about? Why don’t you try knocking your knee against the coffee table?”
Yanny could not help but to laugh looking at him throwing a tantrum like a kid. “Did I ask you to hit yourself?”
He was lashing out at her although he was the one who hurt himself.
Yanny rolled his trousers leg up. Indeed, he had a bruise on his knee. It seemed like the bruise would not fade until tomorrow.
“I’ll go get some ointment.”
Yanny took a bruise spray and sprayed it on his knee before rubbing his knee with her hands.
She rolled his trousers down and ordered him, “Stop moving around. If you keep moving around, we won’t be able to have dinner until 8:00 p.m., alright?”
Yanny comforted him nicely and Shayne’s temper cooled down. He was just feeling bored sitting around without doing anything.
Yanny made egg soup, steamed fish, prawns, and stir fried vegetables for dinner.
The soup was very hot. Yanny gave Jinn a bowl of soup and he burned himself.
Yanny was speechless.
How could she not realize that Master Shayne was bad at everything before this? He only knew how to create trouble.
Yanny moved the bowl of soup away from him and said, “Forget it, soup is not the right dish for you right now. You can have the other dishes. Don’t burn yourself.”
Did she just deny the right for a blind person to drink soup?
Shayne said stubbornly, “I want to drink the soup.”
“Then don’t blame me if you burn yourself.”
“You should feed me.” Shayne ordered her.
