Shayne said, "All I wanted was to give you a little push to come back to me by treating you a little colder. What do you want me to say for breaking up with you anyway? Do you want me to tell you that I was jealous of Samuel?"
Yanny's eyes trembled and as she slowly glanced toward him, she noticed that Shayne looked incredibly serious and did not seem to be joking the slightest bit.
Extreme selfless love that he was unaware of could be seen through the deepest depth of his eyes.
Yanny smiled and said, "So you actually believe the nonsense Cara told you? Shayne, have you ever considered that it's not because you believe Cara's statements but it's all because of your lack of faith in me?"
"Yes, I don't believe Cara but I don't trust you either. Yanny, have you ever wondered why I don't trust you in the first place? You can't even bring yourself to tell me that you love me, so how do you expect me to trust you?"
He was unable to trust a girlfriend that never valued him in her heart.
Yanny was starting to tear up as her throat tightened while she took a deep breath and said, "If love requires expression then tell me, how does a mute person even express their love anyway?"
Did this mean that she loved him?
Shayne's back stiffened.
However, Yanny had already turned around and headed straight into the supermarket looking defeated.
Shayne hastily went after her.
Yanny looked extremely focused while she was picking out some instant meals from the shelf.
Shayne followed behind her and asked, "Could you repeat what you said earlier?"
Yanny said, "I said if you want to get back together with me, I need you to pick a star from the sky for me."
Shayne held back his excitement while his eyes were glimmering brightly but he replied in a very casual tone, "Are you trying to warm me to death? You can have anything you want, so why a star?"
"Fine then, I want North City to snow in July."
"You want me to do something this horrible to the environment? I mean, if you really want it, I don't mind doing it." Shayne stared at her with a teasing look.
Yanny simply replied, "I'll wait for the sky to rain blood then. This isn't too much to ask, right?"
Shayne was speechless.
After remaining silent for a brief moment, he reached out to grab her hand and said, "No, it's not."
Shayne made a mental note for himself to pluck stars from the sky, make North City snow in July and rain blood if he was unable to cheer her up in the future. Doing so might actually win her back.
However, who knew that even after plucking stars from the sky, making North City snow in July and making it rain blood that she would completely disappear from his world in the future.
…
After Yanny was done with the filming of 'Interesting Adventures' she returned to North City with Shayne.
However, not long after they returned to North City, she was completely absorbed by work again.
Yanny did not forgive Shayne but they did not bring up their fight anymore nor did they continue to dwell on whether or not they actually got back together.
Yanny started acting again in April.
Yanny was still acting as female supporting role one in a theatrical release movie. Yanny was getting overwhelmed by the amount of offers she was getting after her success in 'Black and White'. She was still getting offers from high ranking producers even after Shayne intended to hinder her career for a while.
If it was not for Shayne's interference, Yanny's schedule would be even more packed and would even be required to spend her New Year's Day abroad.
Shayne did not have the heart to let that happen.
It would be completely fine for his woman to take up occasional work but she had no reason to work this much.
After Yanny started working for Larry, she once again acted for Faye Langstrom.
Yanny chose to act in Faye's movie, 'Neutral War' under Spring's arrangement. She had once again gone viral online and had become the youngest actress to have worked with two directors at the same time.
Faye was an old friend of Shayne's.
Faye happened to be the youngest A list director in the entertainment industry both in Hollywood and locally. She had received two Oscars for best director and plenty of other incredible awards. Hence it did not matter if it was in Hollywood or locally, she had quite a reputation in both.
Her return home this time to film 'Neutral War' was to fulfil an unfinished dream she had when she was younger.
The entire filming process for 'Neutral War' took eight months to finish in North City.
Ever since both Yanny and Shayne returned to North City from South Africa in March and when she joined the production team to film 'Neutral War' she had not seen Shayne since.
The entire year went by in a flash.
Yanny was busy with work and her reputation was skyrocketing. Spring told her that as long as she seized this opportunity by doing a really amazing job acting in the movie and winning the Golden Globe Award, she would be free to shape her acting career the way she wanted.
If Faye fully boosted Yanny's potential, it would not be a far fetched dream for her to expand her career to Hollywood since Yanny was extremely talented in acting and was a very attractive actress. It would be suitable for her to expand her career internationally. However, the key to success abroad was to be extremely flexible in her acting skills and it would be not bad for her career if she was to enter Hollywood.
