Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 120

The night sky glimmered at the expansive sea as the darkness stretched endlessly. How could she possibly even catch a glimpse of a boat’s silhouette?

Verian was overthinking, her mind completely empty as tears fell uncontrollably. Both her legs were numb and weak from all the crying as she stumbled and fell on her butt on top of the sandy beach.

“Boo hoo hoo… Heaton Fudd… Where are you? Where can I go to find you...Boo hoo hoo, you b*stard… Why’d you come to look for me? What am I and Little Jelly Bean gonna do...if you died… Boo hoo hoo…”

Both her arms were hugging her legs as she pressed her tiny, tear-filled face in between her legs while dissolving into a puddle of tears.

Her ears were buzzing as all she could hear was her loud sobbing cries echoing at the beach. She could not hear the footsteps that were approaching her.

“Heaton Fudd… You b*stard… Didn’t you say you’d be a bringer of calamity for a thousand years? How could you die so soon?”

A sudden familiar clear, deep, and cold manly voice echoed from above her head.

“I’m already dead, yet you’re still scolding me?”

Verian, who had her head buried, was violently stunned as she immediately looked up while her eyes shot wide open and she stared at him!

This… Was this actually Heaton Fudd? Was she hallucinating?

She was so startled by it, her hair standing on its ends as her butt stumbled further backward instinctively. “You, are you a human or a ghost!”

Heaton’s body was completely soaked and although he seemed tattered, it had no impact on his handsome face and elegance. The man’s face looked even more attractive under the moonlight. His expression dimmed and twitched slightly. While staring at her, he said through gritted teeth, “If I’m a ghost, I’d most probably have already strangled you to death and dragged you into the underworld along with me!”

After Verian’s vision had cleared from its blurry state, she immediately leapt from the sandy beach and into his arms. Both her arms hugged his neck while her legs were completely off the ground. She wrapped herself onto his waist!

“It’s really you! You didn’t die! Heaton, I… Huuu…”

Her statement was shoved into the man’s mouth. As both lips pressed against one another, a mix of cold and warmth could be felt as they exchanged each other’s breath. Her body’s heat warmed him up.

This kiss, although it seemed barbaric, it felt extremely passionate. Verian hugged his neck tightly. She reciprocated his feelings uncontrollably.

The emotions of meeting a person when she was worried about his life strengthened her feelings of love for him. The tiny hand that symbolized her yearning for him in her heart seemingly morphed into ten thousand vines that wrapped tightly around her heart.

“Heaton…”

Her tears were being kissed into his mouth. They tasted sweet and salty at the same time.

The man released her slightly as Verian’s eyes seemed like a blurry mess from crying so hard. Her gaze was fixated on him in a charming daze. Her long hair was stuck on both her tiny drenched cheeks. She looked like a complete mess. However, in Heaton Fudd’s eyes, this was incredibly attractive.

Both faces were extremely close to one another. They were so close that their breaths were mixing. Verian gently blinked her eyes as a single tear fell from her eyes again. She said sobbingly, “I… I actually thought something bad happened to you.”

The man supported her butt with his huge hands while his dark, pearly eyes were burningly fixated on her. He spoke in a muted tone, “How long are you gonna dangle from me?”

Although that was how he asked, there was a shred of compassion and love in his tone.

It was only then that Verian realized she was literally hanging onto him. Her legs were tightly wrapped around the man’s waist. She blushed with her tiny face as she immediately got off him. However, Heaton pushed her closer to him with his huge hands against her back. She could clearly feel the warm, stiff object from the man’s special place…

Her tiny face immediately turned red from blushing heavily. She instinctively said, “This is out in the open…”

Not only was it out in the open, it was at a beach. Verian could not imagine what Heaton would do to her at an open beach.

The man cracked a grin with his thin lips and stared at her with a funny look. While putting her down, he also teased her, “So, you know this is the outdoors too? Why were you hanging off of me earlier then?”

Verian pouted her lips as she recalled everything from earlier. It seemed she was too excited and had somehow forgotten that they were at a cold war with each other. Her expression immediately changed as she coldly exclaimed, “I haven’t forgiven you yet.”

She would never forgive him that easily.

The moment she turned around, her wrists were grabbed by Heaton as she pulled onto him once again. The man looked down and said, “I rushed all night to come over. I’m not here to listen to your unkind words.”
