Not only had she eaten instant noodles, she did not even cook it. She had just opened it and ate it dry. Heaton definitely did not agree with this way of eating.
Verian blushed. She took the packet of opened instant noodles and quickly threw it into the rubbish bin. She mumbled softly, “You’ve never tried it and don’t understand, eating dry instant noodles is delicious…”
She mumbled and spoke before suddenly stopping halfway.
No, what had he just said? Fed his son raw instant noodles?
Where did this son come from?
The little one in her womb was just one month old so one could not possibly know if it was a boy or a girl. How did he know that it would surely be a son?
She turned around and almost knocked into Heaton.
This man, when had he walked behind her as he was now so near to her.
Verian was about to step back a little when the man’s big hands held onto her slim waist. His black eyes fixed themselves on her. “You said that I was the most ruthless, that I knew you wanted something else but did nothing, gave you everything, treated you well unconditionally, taught you love, and then took everything back all in one shot?”
Verian was a little panicky as she was afraid when Heaton spoke to her so seriously. She wanted to escape but the slender and powerfully big hands caught her waist tightly.
“You thought that I seduced you into a trap on purpose?”
She lowered her eyes and asked him softly, “Isn’t that what happened?”
He only wanted to use this trick to punish her.
The man’s eyes looked deeply at her bent neck, white and soft. “It’s true that I did it on purpose.”
“...”
So, he was admitting that he did not like her at all. He just wanted to seduce her into a trap?
The child in her womb...was also included? Was this also a part of his plan?
When Verian thought of the details, she felt that her hair stand up as her heart beat like thunder and her entire body went cold, waves of disgusting cold rushing through.
“But I pampered you and taught you to love me, all without the intention that you’d leave me. I’m a business person, and business people only do things that bring profit. I’m good to you but it’s not unconditional. Verian Mont, I’m not a philanthropist, I have other reasons.”
Verian was stunned. Reasons?
Her eyes turned red as she stubbornly said, “Didn’t you achieve your reason? Or do you want me to be even more miserable by taking the child in my womb?”
Step after step, Heaton approached her and Verian stared at his cold, dark eyes. She could not figure out his thoughts. She was suddenly a little scared. She stepped back unconsciously until her waist lightly touched the kitchen counter and she had nowhere to go. Heaton lifted her chin with his slightly cool fingers before leaning down and kissing her.
In between their kiss, Verian felt a pain on her lips. It was Heaton bitting her. The man’s thin lips pressed against her lips as he said in a hoarse voice, “I thought you were very clear about my intentions toward you-”
“...”
Without waiting for Verian’s response, Heaton let go of her, glancing at the bathroom and lowering his head to take off the expensive watch on his wrist. “I’ve been on the road for five to six hours, I need a shower.”
