Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 237

In the Blue Prefecture villa....

Sam Joyce was sitting on the sofa watching the news. The news of a car accident in North City was being broadcasted on TV. On a highway along the river, the owner of a car was hit by a truck and was flung into the river because of drunk driving.

The car was destroyed, and the man was dead.

When Yanni Quain came out of the study, he found the little woman sitting on the sofa attentively watching this kind of tragic news.

He picked up the remote control and immediately turned off the TV. Sam was startled and looked at him but Yanni had already bent over and carried her.

While kissing her, he said, "Why are you watching this kind of news? Aren't you afraid?"

Since she fell into the sea back then, Yanni still had fears in his heart when he saw rivers and lakes. Why wasn't she afraid even though she almost died in the sea before?

Sam was distracted as she was pondering on something.

Yanni carried her to the big, soft bed, as he lowered his head to kiss her again. Doting on her, he said, "Are you distracted when you're with me?"

"..."

The man took off her home clothes.

"Yanni..."

"Hm?"

"I… I’m not ready yet..."

"Sammie, I miss you so much. I don't know why, but I always feel insecure since you've come back. I always feel that all this is just my fantasy, and you'll leave me again."

Yanni buried himself in her neck. He closed his eyes deeply and sighed softly.

Sam reached out her hands to hug his head, comforting him. "Don't worry. If you don't let me go this time, I surely won't leave you."

"How can I be willing to let you go?"

The man's kiss fell on her ears, neck, and collarbone... When he reached her chest, he paused slightly.

Yanni stared at the small red mole on her left chest, and his black eyes deepened.

Sam blushed and bit her lower lip. She put on the home clothes that were taken off and said shyly, "I… I'm really not ready yet. Can you wait...?"

When Yanni raised his head and looked at her, his eyes looked deep and complicated, making it hard to understand him.

"Sammie, it turns out that you have a small red mole on your left chest. How come I didn't notice it before...?"

Sam's eyes were filled with astonishment, then she lowered her watery eyes and explained. "That little red mole is not very obvious. Maybe... maybe you just didn't notice it before."

For a long time, Yanni stared at the back of her neck that was curved. Finally, his face relaxed, and he said, "Perhaps I really didn't notice it before. From now on, I'll never miss any of your little secrets."

His words sounded serious and flirty at the same time, making Sam's face flushed. However, her chest felt suffocated.

The man in front of her was the beloved man her sister loved. Nevertheless, at this moment, he kissed and hugged her, and they even did these intimate activities together. However, if her sister knew about it in the afterlife, would she blame her?

Regardless, this man indirectly caused the death of her closest sister!

In order to avenge her sister, she was willing to sacrifice everything, including her life. Therefore, this body that was like an empty shell was nothing to her.

She asked as if she was probing, "We... Were we really together before? I… I have lost lots of my memories. I can’t remember."

Yanni looked at her and said word by word, "No, we never reached the last step. Back then, we were still in college. You said that you were afraid of getting pregnant, so I didn't have the heart to do it. I thought that we were going to get married anyway, so it won’t be too late for me to take you as my woman when signing the marriage certificate. But, I didn’t expect our separation to last ten years. Sammie, if you ask me to wait for you for another ten years, I'm really not sure if I can do it."

Maybe his eyes were too gentle and deep, or maybe his tone was too sincere but it made Sam's eyes gradually become moist.

For a moment, she thought that she was really Sam, and they really crazily loved each other before.

Sam stretched out her hand and hugged his neck tightly as a silent response to him.

Yanni put his arms around her and said, "Tomorrow, I'll take you to see the rest of the Quain family members. Our marriage should be on the agenda."

Sam frowned. "But, I've just come back. Will it be too soon?"

"Sammie, I've waited for too long. I don't want to wait another day."

For some reason, she did not seem to know how to reject this man.
