Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 252

When Xavier woke up, it was three o'clock in the morning.

He had just woken up and tried to move his arm when he found it being tightly held by a soft little one.

His eyebrows frowned slightly.

He lowered his eyes to look over. There was a woman who was leaning next to his hospital bed and sleeping.

Xavier saw that she was holding onto his hand tightly and tried to pull her hand away. However, Verian did not sleep deeply, so she was alerted by his actions and woke up.

"Heaton?"

She had just woken up so her voice sounded hoarse. There was a strong nasal sound.

She looked blankly at the man on the hospital bed. She looked at him for a long time and the brightness in her eyes gradually dimmed.

The man in front of her was still Xavier.

Heaton would not stare at her with such strange, cold eyes.

Verian loosened her hand and asked, "Are you still feeling not well? I'll call Dr. Jarret over."

However, Xavier said coldly, "The so-called Dr. Jarret that knocked me out with a drug and brought me here. Do you think I'll trust him?"

Verian frowned. "It's because you won’t cooperate, so Dr. Jarret..."

"Why should I cooperate with you? Should I cooperate with you to find Heaton?"

Although Xavier, who was before her, was Heaton’s third personality, his character was very different from Heaton's. Even though Heaton normally behaved coldly, he was not as unreasonable as Xavier.

"Xavier, you have to get treatment now. Only Dr. Jarret can help you."

"Why should I get treatment?"

Verian was speechless for a while. She could not tell Xavier that he was just a split personality as a result of Heaton's split personality disorder. If Xavier knew about this, he would not cooperate with the treatment. What more was that he would not let Heaton come back.

Seeing Verian being silent, Xavier removed the blanket and got out of bed. He put on shoes, wanting to leave.

Verian stopped him by standing in front of him. "You can't go!"

"Why can't I go? Or are you trying to detain me illegally?"

Xavier hit her arm that was blocking him. He walked through her and did not want to take a look at her.

Although Verian clearly knew that this man who hurt her, ignored her, and treated her like a stranger was not Heaton, he was still had Heaton's face and body. Therefore, she still felt extremely depressed.

Just as Xavier was about to leave, Verian gritted her teeth and chased him up, holding him tightly from behind.

"Please... Give me back Heaton."

In her heart, Verian prayed over and over again. 'Heaton, please come back. Please come back quickly...'

She did not know how long she could bear with this. She did not know how to deal with Xavier.

"Let go!"

The hands of this little woman embracing him from the back of his waist to the front of his body were like a knot. Temporarily, he could not remove himself from her embrace.

"You cannot leave. Xavier, I won't let you leave!"

Xavier's eyes were filled with impatience. He removed Verian's hands and abruptly pushed her aside. “If you cling onto me like this again, you're just forcing me to hit you!"

"You cannot leave!"

Xavier pushed Verian, who was blocking him, away. Her strength was not great and Xavier did not hold back his strength at all. Verian became unstable and almost fell to the floor.

However, Xavier did not care about her at all. He took a big step and walked outside the ward.

Wilson heard some movements and rushed in hurridly.

"Dr. Jarret, stop him!"

In order to stop Xavier from leaving, Wilson fought him hard. When Xavier's hand was about to clutch Wilson's neck, Wilson quickly injected a dose of drugs into Xavier's arm with his sharp eyes and deft hands.

Xavier fainted to the ground.

"Heaton!" Verian screamed.

Wilson used his thumb to wipe away the bloodstain on the corner of his mouth. This fellow used his full strength to fight him!

"He’s alright. But, he cannot stay here anymore."

"As soon as he wakes up, he’ll want to leave. He simply won't cooperate for the treatment.”

"Moreover, if we let Xavier know that we're driving him away by awakening Heaton's consciousness, he’ll reject the treatment even more. Observing Xavier's character now, he would definitely be unwilling to have his consciousness co-exist with Heaton's."

"Dr. Jarret, what should we do now?”

Wilson carried the unconscious Xavier up. He said, "Bring him to my private medical base."

In the middle of the night, Wilson moved Xavier to his medical base.

When they reached a giant, semi-ellipse white building, Serene's eyes widened largely.

This was just like a science fiction story!

When opening the door, she saw Wilson put his entire palm onto the fingerprint identification machine. After three seconds, there came a beeping sound, and a robotic voice followed.

"Fingerprints matched. Welcome home, master."
