Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 268

When they left the hospital, Verian did not speak to Heaton throughout the whole journey.

This was because they did not come to an agreement on the decision.

Reaching the villa in Shallow Bay, Heaton got out of the car first. He walked over to her side , opened the door to the front passenger seat, and unfastened her seat belt. He bent over to carry her and walked toward the villa.

Verian huddled in his arms and remained silent. However, when they reached the bedroom, Heaton felt wetness on his chest.

Heaton put her on the bed but kept holding her.

"Riana?"

A mournful cry came from his arms. The little woman's slender fair hand held the collar of his coat. She sobbed as she said, "I can't bear to... Heaton... I really can't bear to abort this child..."

When she first realised she had the child, she panicked and even thought about aborting him. However, if it was not for the child, she did not know how she could pull through the period when Heaton had an accident.

Before she realized it, this child had accompanied her on such a long journey.

This was her child with Heaton. She loved Heaton, as much as she loved the child.

"Let's change out of these dirty clothes first and regarding the child..."

Heaton's voice paused. He hesitated, too.

He never hesitated so much on anything.

He did not want Verian to give birth to this child because he felt distressed to see her endure the hardship of delivering the child. Moreover, he also hated to give up this child.

"Heaton, just let me try, alright? If the child really can't be kept, I'll promise you that I’ll give up this child."

Verian hugged his neck and looked at him, with her moist eyes filled with a pleading gaze.

Sometimes, Heaton was afraid of her.

Heaton did not like women crying too much. If a woman cried continuously in front of him, he would probably end up being more impatient. Nevertheless, when Verian cried, his whole heart softened.

"Stop crying."

Verian continued to cry.

"Riana..."

"If you promise me, then I will stop crying."

"..."

Heaton stared at her. "When did you learn to be so demanding?"

Verian raised her head, hugged his neck, and kissed his thin lips.

This was an affectionate kiss that contained no skills but only mucus and tears.

Obviously, she was trying to please him.

He clearly knew her intentions, but he liked this.

"Will you promise me? I’ll give it a try. If it doesn’t work, we're not keeping the child..."

Heaton was no match for her coaxing and pestering, so he reluctantly agreed.

However, they set a limit of one month. If within one month, her health was still so bad, and her progesterone levels were still low and she bled frequently, they must give up the child.

The doctor said, if she could lie on the bed then do not leave the bed. Also, if she could sit down then do not stand.

As a result, Verian was trapped on the bed.

Heaton had a lot of work so he could not accompany her all the time. He had to take care of her while dealing with work. After a few days, Verian gained weight, but Heaton became thinner.

"Heaton, I'm sorry. I brought you so much trouble. I'll cook supper for you."

Verian was about to get up to make supper, but Heaton pulled his necktie with one hand and held her with the other hand. "Don't move around. Stay here obediently."

Heaton took off his coat and threw it on the sofa nearby. He said, "What do you like to eat? I'll make it."
