Xylean blushed after being questioned so suddenly by Little Jelly Bean. Before she could even reply, Yandel smirked and replied in a confident tone, “Not my girlfriend but my fiance.”
“What is a fiance?” Little Jelly Bean asked Yandel while pouting her lips.
Yandel explained in a very simple way, “Fiance is like someone you want to marry and have babies with. Like your parents.”
The moment that statement was made, everyone turned to look at Xylean with a warm gaze.
Little Jelly Bean nodded seriously and said, “Oh, I know uncle. Then, shouldn’t I call her aunty?”
Verian burst out laughing and said, “Jelly Bean, you called her pretty sister a second ago and now you’re calling her aunty? What exactly are you going to call her then?”
This little rascal had confused her formalities. However, a child would be oblivious to formalities anyway.
Little Jelly Bean stared at Xylean while blinking her huge eyes. She opened her mouth and spoke in a serious tone, “Aunty.”
Xylean blushed since this was her first time anyone had called her aunty. She immediately walked over and grabbed onto Little Jelly Bean’s hand while intentionally changing the topic, “Jelly Bean, Monty and I had agreed before that you will be my goddaughter so you can’t call aunty and you have to call me your godmother!”
Yannis was in an incredibly good mood as she said while laughing, “Oh you bunch of adults keep making Little Jelly Bean call you guys differently. You guys are confusing poor Little Jelly Bean now. Jelly Bean, call them whatever you like!”
Xylean carried Little Jelly Bean from Yandel’s arms and walked toward the couch. She said after sitting down, “Jelly Bean, I have also prepared a gift for you. Why don’t you open it and tell me if you like it or not?”
While Little Jelly Bean sat in Xylean’s lap, she opened up the gift box with both hands.
Verian had Madam Leah prepare some snacks and tea before sitting down. She said, “Can you guys not buy so many gifts for my child next time? You all will spoil her.”
It would be impossible for Yannis not to spoil her since she finally had herself a granddaughter so she said, “No way. Our Little Jelly Bean is a princess now, isn’t she?”
Little Jelly Bean replied in a childish tone, “Daddy said, we shouldn’t live extravagantly and be wasteful. I can’t play too much because it will affect my intelligence so I won’t play with toys everyday.”
Yannis burst out laughing as she watched the little rascal’s stiff attitude as she said, “Riana, this child is on the right path. You don’t need to worry about her.”
After Little Jelly Bean finished opening Xylean’s gift, she noticed the gift was an intricately made doll.
Little Jelly Bean hugged the doll then gave Xylean’s cheek a kiss before saying, “Thank you, godmother!”
“I’m glad you love it, Jelly Bean.”
Yannis teased Little Jelly Bean. “Jelly Bean, so you kissed your godmother because she gave you a doll and even your uncle gets a kiss when he didn’t even give you anything. Why didn’t you kiss your grandma when I gave you a dress?”
Little Jelly Bean immediately got out of Xylean’s arms, ran over to Yannis and immediately kissed Yannis’ cheeks!
Yannis was incredibly happy as she kissed Little Jelly Bean’s little face back. She then said, “Oh, Jelly Bean, you’re grandma’s beloved.”
Verian was worried about Yannis’ weak health since she had just gone through a surgery so she reminded her, “Jelly Bean, your grandma’s body is weak, don’t keep asking your grandma to carry you around all the time.”
“Says who. I am more than happy to carry Little Jelly Bean around. When my mood gets better, my health will obviously get better as well.”
Yandel obviously could tell his mother’s mood was incredibly well so he told Verian, “Just let mom carry her since it’s rare for mom to be in such a wonderful mood.”
Yannis intentionally hinted, “Yeah, not only can I carry Little Jelly Bean but I can even carry the baby in your belly after it's out, on my other arm. I want to also carry Yandel and Xylean’s child around next time, okay? Hence, it’s decided. Till then, don’t you guys judge me for being old and unable to carry your children around.”
Verian was worried that Xylean might be embarrassed so she jokingly said, “Mom, I’m worried that even if we’re willing to do that next time, you’d be unwilling to come over. So, don’t you complain about being tired then, okay?”
“I won’t ever complain about being tired. I feel several years younger just by being with the children.”
