Wilson brought Serene back to his camp.

Wilson held tightly onto the woman’s little hands throughout the entire journey back. He never once let go of her.

They immediately noticed Ruby the moment they entered their camp. Ruby was a little shocked upon seeing Serene as she asked, “What is she doing here? No, wait, how did she get here?”

Serene stared at Wilson the moment she noticed Ruby. She was tightly hugging Wilson’s arm with both hands as she told Ruby while puffing up her little face, “Why can’t I come over when you guys can? I took a plane here. Don’t you dare underestimate me and assume for a second that you’d be able to snatch Wilson away in my absence.”

Ruby was only a snatch thief in Serene’s eyes.

Ruby teased her, “You took a plane? Please enlighten me which airline was willing to fly you here?”

Wilson interjected with a calm smile as he noticed their petty squabbles. “My godfather sent her here. What are you doing in my tent at this hour?”

“You were not here and I…”

Before she could finish, Ruby’s gaze landed on Serene’s tender white little face and intentionally said, “Oh, I was obviously planning to spend the pleasant night with you at this hour, duh…”

Ruby wanted to flirtatiously touch Wilson’s chin but her hand was grabbed by the seemingly chubby-looking woman. The woman stood between Ruby and Wilson.

“What are you planning to do alone in a man’s tent at this hour? How inappropriate.”

Ruby burst out laughing while hugging her belly as she listened to Serene’s ranting. She spoke while laughing, “It’s inappropriate for me to be in a man’s tent? What about you then? Wouldn’t it be even more inappropriate for you since you’re behaving so flirtatiously in a man’s tent alone at this hour?”

Serene was furiously tongue-tied. “I…”

On the other hand, Wilson refused to be involved as he merely spectated on the side while holding back his laughter.

Upon noticing Serene’s speechlessness, Ruby intentionally toyed with her as she led her outside while holding onto her arm and said, “I’m a woman too so why don’t you sleep with me tonight. That way, everything will be fine.”

Serene replied, “... I-I don’t want to sleep with you.”

“But aside from me, there aren’t any other females here though.”

The corners of Serene’s mouth twitched as she was speechless.

Did she come all this way just to sleep with Ruby?! Obviously not!

However, Serene was dragged into Ruby’s tent.

Serene furiously rolled her eyes. She felt helpless as she was unable to run away due to her pride.

Ruby glanced at Serene and teased her, “What’s the matter? Unhappy? It’s your utmost honor to be invited by me to have a sleepover together, you know. Do you have any idea how many men out there have desperately wanted to sleep with me but I’ve never given them the chance.”

Serene was annoyed as she said, “But I’m not a man…”
