Blaine was still ignoring her as he merely gave her a cold reply, “Do whatever you want.”

Ruby was speechless as she was absolutely destroyed by his words.

Since he wanted to intentionally ignore her, then he should stop thinking about working in peace.

Ruby gritted her teeth as she stared at his cold frowning face before striding over to Blaine and immediately sitting on his lap.

She was even hugging Blaine’s neck tightly with both arms.

Blaine frowned harder as he glared at her coldly while a subtle flash of anger could be seen in his eyes. He said, “Have I not told you that you’re not allowed to enter my study when I’m working?”

“Oh come on, you have a long list of rules and besides, this isn’t the only rule I forgot anyway. Besides, why should I do what you say since you’d ignore me while you work anyway? You didn’t even bother to answer my question earlier, right? So, isn’t this unfair when only your rules are rules and my rules are nothing?”

Blaine stared at the woman in his arms and it seemed that she was naively bold. She was nothing more than a stray cat he picked up and yet she was acting so boldly. However, it seemed that the points she made sounded convincing enough to Blaine.

That was because she was determined enough in explaining her twisted reasons.

Blaine stared intensely at her beautiful little face. He no longer had the mood to continue working so he decided to toss his work aside and carried the woman onto his desk.

Blaine got up and hugged the woman as she sat on his desk. He wrapped his long slender arms around her waist tightly, lowered his body and stared directly at her.

“Aren’t you afraid of me throwing you out?”

The woman was staring directly at him in a very bold manner as she said, “If you’re really going to throw me out, you would’ve done so long before this. Why would you even wait till now, right?”

“You’re really that confident in yourself, aren’t you?” Blaine was slightly squinting his eyes.

The woman hugged his neck and teased, “I just know you love me the most.”

The woman’s body was emanating a faint scent of jasmine and it was very captivating. Blaine could not help but to lower his head and nuzzle against the soft and tender skin in her nape. He even gave it a kiss with his thin lips. He spoke in a deep and cold tone, “But this doesn’t mean you’re allowed to interrupt me whenever you want when I’m working.”

The instant Blaine finished saying that, Ruby immediately reached out to cover Blaine’s thin lips with her hand.

Blaine glared at her with a dangerously menacing gaze as he asked, “What are you doing?”

Ruby replied in a confident tone, “Since you won’t allow me to disturb you whenever I want, you’re not allowed to touch or kiss me whenever you want then. I think this is fair.”

The instant she was done saying that, Ruby hopped off his desk, turned around and was about to leave.

Blaine grinned as he immediately grabbed her wrist before pulling her back into his arms from behind. He then hugged the woman’s slender waist tightly.

“So, you flirted with me intentionally and now you’re just going to leave without taking any responsibility?”

Ruby pouted her lips and replied with an innocent look, “I thought you wanted me to leave? I didn’t want to but you were just rambling about not allowing me to disturb you while you work. I understand my mistakes now and I no longer wish to disturb you while you work. However… you’re currently hugging me and didn’t want me to leave. I don’t know what you want.”

Blaine lowered his gaze and stared at the side of the woman’s attractive face and her cunning fox-like beady eyes. Somehow, Blaine found such a cunning little woman adorable.

“You sure have a knack on being very cunning now, Softie.”

Ruby took a deep breath, turned around and hugged Blaine’s neck in a normal way as she said, “Look at how women my age are wandering out there all by themselves. Although I was picked up by you, I too wish to have some form of basic rights. I’ve been cooped up in this mansion for so long now so can you release me and let me have fun out there? Heck, letting me out once a week for a full day of fun will be awesome too.”

“You really want to have fun out there?” The man asked in a casual tone as his huge hand landed on the woman’s soft waist before gently massaging it in a very comfortable way.
