Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 806

After being scolded by Boyle, Cherie began to cry.

All of her pent up emotions exploded in that instant.

Cherie clenched her fist, raised her slender little neck and said while sobbing, "Fine, it's always been me, okay? It's my fault for flirting with you all the time! Am I wrong to like you? Fine, I won't bother to flirt with you anymore in the future! You're free now and I won't ever cling onto you anymore!"

The woman's eyes were puffy and red from crying so hard in front of him. Her nose was twitching a little as her downpour of tears stung Boyle's heart.

Boyle bent over, facing his back at her before patting his shoulder and telling her, "Hop on."

Cherie was wiping her tears with her tiny clenched fists as she asked with a hoarse voice, "What are you doing?"

"If you don't want us to be the wild wolves' dinner tonight, do as I say."

Cherie was wide-eyed when she heard him mention the 'wild wolves'. She then cautiously scanned the forest as she asked, "Are there really wolves here?"

She sounded quite naive and innocent.

Boyle's anger subsided in that instant.

The woman frantically climbed onto Boyle's back while hugging his neck tightly with her little arms. She was cautiously scanning the area with her dark beady eyes like a hawk while rushing Boyle at the same time.

"Hurry up, Boyle."

Boyle was speechless.

Hence, she would actually stop throwing a fit at him after hearing about wild wolves?

He should have scared her earlier if he knew about it.

"Our lives are more important, Boyle. The wolves would be ferocious here, so please hurry."

"Wouldn't it be better if I flew instead?"

Cherie pouted her lips as she was speechless.

Boyle was carrying her on his back while he looked for the way back to their campsite in this dense forest.

Cherie's little face was filthy from all the crying as she leaned on Boyle's back with her huge eyes wide open while asking, "Do you still remember the way back?"

Since it was now nightfall, it was hard, even for Boyle who was good with directions to be certain of their way back.

"I'm not that sure."

Cherie scanned the area before patting Boyle with her little hand as she pointed at the right path and said, "I remember coming from that direction."
