Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 834

They chose to take the cable to descend the mountain.

Whitney and Huntley were playfully bickering with each other in the cable car while Cherie and Boyle did not seem to be in a good mood. They were silent throughout the journey.

They returned to the Greentown Condominium after having fun for the entire day. The instant Cherie entered the door, she immediately hugged Boyle's waist from behind.

Boyle was slightly stunned as he lowered his gaze to look at the pair of tender white little hands around his waist before reaching out to hold them as he asked, "What's wrong?"

The woman behind him peeked her head over to look at his bitter yet handsome face. She said, "Are you still angry about what that monk said earlier?"

"No."

Cherie furiously exclaimed, "He's not even some grandmaster or something and everything that came out of his mouth was complete utter nonsense. Come on now, what year is this and I can't believe someone could still say something like this."

"Yeah, I don't believe him either." Boyle turned around and pulled her little head closer into his chest before hugging her tightly.

"Boyle, I'll tell my parents about us after we've been dating for a little while longer, okay?"

Boyle calmly said, "I thought your parents don't allow you to date right now?"

Cherie replied after some thought, "Well, it's true that's what they said. However, I'll tell them about us after some time has passed. Come on now, the worst that could happen is me getting lectured by them. My parents love me very much and they won't actually be against us dating."

Boyle chuckled gently and said, "Will you give up if they are actually against us?"

Cherie raised her little head and said, "If they're actually against us dating, I will tell them that I understand their concerns but I'll continue dating you in secret anyway. They can't really do anything after some time. However, if they are still very much against us, then, I'll go to my grandpa. All I need to do is act really sad in front of my grandpa and he will side with me. My parents won't be able to stop me with my grandpa's help."

Boyle raised his hand and gently pat Cherie's head before saying, "You're quite resourceful when it comes to dealing with your parents, Cherie."

"Well of course." Cherie raised her little head pridefully.

She hugged his waist tightly with both arms and said, "You gave up your chance to further your studies in the United States for me. I won't ever betray your feelings, Boyle."

Boyle stared at her dark beady eyes before reaching out to tuck her messy hair behind her ear as he said, "I'm worried that I might actually hurt you some day just like the monk said."

He would never be able to forgive himself if that actually happened.

It did not matter if he was the one who ended up hurting her. He would not be able to bear such a thought.

Cherie smiled at him and said, "I know you love me and I know you won't hurt me."

Boyle lowered his head to kiss her forehead.

Christmas came in a flash.

White snow was pouring down from the sky in the capital.

Cherie did not have any classes at noon so she was catching the snowflakes by the window in the Greentown Condominium.

Boyle received a case three days ago and had to get some documents from his client in S City. He had not returned from his business trip yet.

Boyle premade a bunch of food and stored it in the fridge before he left. All Cherie had to do was to heat the food up in the microwave when it was time to eat.

However, she would have to cook her own pasta.

Despite how simple it was to cook pasta, a certain someone would either add too much water which turned the pasta soggy or too little water which made it hard.

The woman found it very frustrating and felt like a completely useless person.

However, she refused to give up and after a series of failures, she finally made it right with the right amount of water. The pasta turned out perfectly well. She took a picture and sent it to Boyle.

Boyle seemed to be extremely busy as he only replied after two to three hours, "Oh, my Cherie is all grown up now. You finally know how to make your own pasta."

Cherie was speechless.

The snowfall grew heavier outside after she was done with her early dinner, she decided to build a snowman in the courtyard outside.

Since it was Christmas, plenty of Santa Claus’ shaped lights were lit up outside.

She wanted to invite Whitney to celebrate Christmas with her. However, Whitney was spending Christmas with Huntley, completely ignoring her best friend.

She felt a little lonely.
