Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 866

Boyle's North City home was located on Lake Street.

Lake Street got its name from the lake close to the street. The lake was beautiful and clear.

The real estate prices in the area skyrocketed because of a group of wealthy and powerful people living there. It was why it had such an overwhelmingly expensive price tag.

Boyle had bought a private villa in the absurdly expensive area.

It seemed even Cherie—who also had quite the wealthy family—was surprised at how much Boyle had changed and how powerful he had become after all these years.

The villa Boyle bought was extremely huge. Upon entering the courtyard, they were greeted with a beautiful carpet of green grass and all kinds of flowers and shrubs. Life was blooming in the courtyard.

It looked like a quiet oasis in the middle of the city.

Cherie commented neutrally, "You know, I'm starting to think that you didn’t actually invite me over to meet Boney and it’s just you trying to flaunt your wealth at me.”

Boyle was not offended by her comment as he laughed. His laugh sounded gentle and warm as he said, "All of this, all my wealth, belongs to my future Madam Lawson. There's nothing much for me to flaunt about anyway."

Madam Lawson? Anyone could be Madam Lawson since it would never be her.

Cherie brushed off his remark and simply walked over to the villa's entrance and coldly exclaimed, "Open the door."

Boyle was in no hurry as he crossed his arms and stood on the side with no intention of moving, He simply said, "You know the pin."

"... How would I know what the pin to your house is?"

Boyle approached her from behind before grabbing her slender little hand with his huge hand and moving it toward the keypad. He lowered his head and whispered into her ear, "The pin to all my houses is the same pin I used at the Greentown Condominium. It's the date we first met."

His chest was touching her back. He was very close to her.

Cherie could almost smell the scent of the ocean fragrant cologne he applied to his body from how close he was standing behind her. It smelled good. It smelled like the ocean and felt very refreshing.

His palm was warm as it enveloped her own sweaty one.

'Thud, thud. Thud.'

Her heart was racing.

The string of numbers felt excruciatingly long while being entered into the keypad.

Cherie could not help but rush him. "Can you hurry up?"

Boyle chuckled and said, "You're nervous?"

How could he hug and feel her up just by doing something as simple as unlocking a door? Had he not had any female companions in all these years?

The door was finally unlocked as Cherie immediately leaped out of his arms.

Boyle's gaze looked gentle when he stared at how fast she was trying to escape from his embrace.

The first thing one would notice upon entering the house was a wall-mounted bookshelf. Piles of books were placed on the bookshelf and it seemed to cover almost the entire wall. The entire house seemed very elegant and peaceful.

Cherie immediately noticed Boney who had climbed up the bookshelf and was sitting on a pile of thick books.

Cherie looked shocked as she asked, "That's Boney?"

"Yeah, I've fattened it up in the last few years. Your reaction is normal."

Cherie walked over and carried it down from the bookshelf. The cat felt heavy.

Boney had been accompanying Boyle all over the world in the last seven years. It had already gotten used to being around strangers and people.

However, it seemed Boney still loved being around Cherie even after seven years had gone by.

Animals always seemed to love Cherie.

Heaton picked up a stray dog and called it Little Lion when she was three. She instantly bonded with it the moment they met. Little Lion might bite Heaton but would never bite her and would eat anything she fed it.

Boyle asked while she was hugging Boney, "Can I get you something to drink?"

"Water will do."

"Not drinking milk anymore?" Boyle remembered she used to love drinking milk.

Cherie replied, "Fine, anything will do."

After she said that, he brought a glass of warm milk and placed it on the table in front of her.

While Cherie was playing with Boney, she mumbled to herself, "How did you get so fat? I can barely carry you anymore. Do you still remember your mommy?"

"Meow." Boney loved sitting and nuzzling up against soft places. It nuzzled up against her chest.
