Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 918

Under the moonlight, a slender figure was seen outside Boyle’s house. Donning an expressionless face, she walked out of the house with a bloodstained knife in her hand.

Her body was covered with blood.

While walking out of the mansion, she reached into her pocket to take out her phone and make a call.

“Is this 120? Someone is injured…”

In the blue Maserati parked outside the mansion, Harrison woke up from his sleep and did some stretches to loosen his stiff neck.

He looked at the time and it was almost ten.

Since he stayed up the whole night playing video games yesterday, he had fallen asleep quite deeply in the car and nearly forgot about the important matter he had to do.

He quickly looked at the mansion located a distance away from him.

A red Porsche 911 left the mansion and drove past his car.

Instead of switching on the car engine to chase after the red Porsche, he alighted the car and ran toward the mansion.

He entered the mansion and shouted as he walked toward every corner of the house in search of Boyle. “Boyle? Where are you! What did you do with my sister! Boyle!”

Suddenly, he heard the tragic cry of a cat from upstairs.

“Meow! Meow!”

He glanced at the second floor and rushed upstairs.

“Boyle! Answer me! Did you bully my sister, huh! Boyle! You better…”

When Harrison walked past the bedroom, he noticed the door was ajar.

There was a pool of blood on the floor.

Subconsciously, he reached out his hand to turn on the lights.

When he entered the room, what he saw was Boyle lying unconscious in a pool of blood.

Boyle’s white shirt was soaked in fresh blood. Even though he had already lost so much blood, there was a faint trace of a smile on his lips.

His tears were all dried up.

His gaze was fixated at the door.

Boney anxiously cried while lingering beside Boyle.

However, there was no response from him.

Harrison was at loss for words.

Had his sister…murdered Boyle?

Boyle was taken away to the hospital in an ambulance.

There was no sight of Cherie when Harrison came home from Lake Street Mansion.

He was afraid that something bad might happen to Cherie, so he quickly reported to Heaton about the incident.

Late at night, Heaton dispatched a few bodyguards around North City in search of Cherie’s whereabouts.

In the end, through the traffic camera footage, they were able to spot the red Porsche 911 that belonged to the Fudd family driving toward a secluded riverside.

Heaton was worried that Cherie might take her life. Together with Harrison and a few bodyguards, they immediately headed to the riverside.

As they arrived at the riverside, Cherie was seen sitting quietly in the car.
