This was the first official night Cherie moved in with Boyle in the villa by Lake Street.
They shared the same bed as they slept.
Boyle washed Boney and after he was done cleaning it, he carried it back onto their bed.
Since Cherie had very sensitive skin, she would be more prone to getting an allergic reaction toward unclean stuff which included the dust particles in the air. Therefore, Boyle was pretty vigilant when it came toward Boney's cleanliness.
That was because Cherie interacted with Boney a lot.
Boney smelled extremely nice after its wash as it immediately burrowed into Cherie's arms.
The instant Boyle was done with his shower, he noticed both the adult and the pet were eating snacks together.
Cherie would feed Boney some of the snacks she ate.
There was even a children's book placed on the bed.
It was a loving scene to watch.
It seemed Boyle's heart that was empty for quite some time now felt incredibly full at the moment.
Boyle walked over to them, laid in bed and hugged Cherie. He picked up the children's book and asked, "Do you want to hear a bedtime story?"
Since Cherie was having trouble sleeping, she thought that maybe listening to a bedtime story would help her sleep better, so she said, "Yeah."
Boyle flipped through the index and picked a story as he asked, "What about the little match girl?"
Cherie laid on top of his chest and seemed a little exhausted but was not sleepy at all as she said, "Sure."
After Boyle finished reading the story of the little match girl, Cherie's eyes were still glimmering as she stared at him. She did not seem to be sleeping anytime soon.
Boyle hugged her, lowered his head and kissed her little neck. He flipped through the book and asked, "Should we read the story of Thumbelina?"
Cherie was hugging the chubby looking Boney and replied with a simple, "Sure."
After that, Boyle read her the story of, 'The Princess and the Pea' and 'The Little Mermaid.' It was unsure how much time had passed as Cherie leaned against him, turned around and buried her little face in his arms. She was finally tired.
Boney had also leapt out of her arms as Boyle closed the children's book and placed it on his shelf before pulling the covers gently over her.
He switched off the lights and went to sleep while cuddling her.
Boyle took a glance at the digital clock next to him and noticed it was one in the morning. Although it was not exactly early when she went to sleep, it was much better than when she went to sleep at three to four in the morning.
Having to go to bed at one in the morning instead of the usual three to four in the morning was already a massive progress for her.
Boyle could not ask anything more from her.
They slept well throughout the entire night.
Cherie had woken up at three in the morning and was secretly playing with her phone but it was confiscated by Boyle.
He told her more bedtime stories while Cherie buried herself into him before falling asleep again.
…
Boyle woke Cherie up at nine-thirty in the morning in the following day.
Although Cherie was a little grumpy when she woke up and was ignoring Boyle, Boyle still shoved some breakfast into her mouth.
She drank half a glass of milk and was forced to eat two slices of toast that were slathered with strawberry jam in addition to two fried eggs. Boyle ate the rest.
Cherie did not want to eat boiled eggs since it tasted too bland for her.
Later, she was dragged out by Boyle for a morning jog after she was done with breakfast.
She was pretty much being dragged around as they jogged for half a kilometer.
She complained about her bones hurting as she squatted by the side of the road while catching her breath as she refused to move.
Boyle could not help but to keep her company.
Cherie leaned against Boyle's back as he carried her on his back.
A lady that was pacing down the street selling breakfast noticed them several times before as she teased with a laugh, "Oh missy, your husband still has to carry you around even while you're jogging. Doesn't this mean that all of your efforts are for nothing?"
Boyle felt a little flustered as he pushed the woman up a little and said, "Her bones are hurting."
It was such a pitiful excuse to make.
Boyle could not be bothered to explain any further as he simply brushed the lady off.
They caught the attention of a lot of people throughout their jog.
The main reason for all the attention was how handsome and attractive both Boyle and Cherie looked. Since Boyle was also carrying his girlfriend, this made a lot of passersby envious of them.
Cherie raised her brows and stared at the side of his face as she said, "They're all staring at you."
"They're only staring at me because I'm carrying you on my back."
"It's not like you're carrying them anyway so why are they staring at you?"
She sounded very protective and unreasonable from the tone of her voice. It seemed she was already behaving like Boyle's personal unreasonable little gremlin.
While Boyle was carrying the woman, he cracked a grin and said, "Maybe your man just so happened to be too attractive."
Cherie immediately covered both Boyle's cheeks with her hands as she said, "Regardless of how attractive you are, they can't get you nor are they allowed to look at you."
Boyle chuckled gleefully.
She was behaving like a jealous little child and seemed very possessive over him.
Boyle was in an incredibly amazing mood.
