Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 942

Hector suggested that they hold a barbecue party in the yard at noon.

“You have such a big yard here. It’s such a pity the owner doesn’t know how to barbecue. Well, let me show you the ecstasy of enjoying a barbecue in such a big house.”

Huntley laughed and teased Hector, “Just live here after this. Boyle, let him stay in the maid’s room so he can enjoy barbeque in your yard every day.”

Boyle said jokingly, “I don’t have a maid’s room, but Boney has a house though.”

Hector threw a paper plane at Boyle. “Buddy, that’s too much!”

Boyle took the paper plane and handed it to Cherie.

Cherie took the paper plane, blew on it, and threw it out to the yard.

The paper plane flew into the yard.

Whitney said, “You keep talking about barbeque but where are the tools and meat for barbecue?”

Huntley said, “Boyle can stay here to accompany Cherie while the both of us head to the supermarket.”

Hector said, “Are you guys going to leave me alone here to see them flaunt their affections?”

Huntley said, “Who else can we bully if we don’t bully the third-wheel among us?”

Huntley put his arms around his wife’s waist and the couple went out.

Boyle reminded them, “There’s a big supermarket nearby. It’s very near. You guys can use the GPS.”

“Alright.”

Boyle took out his Monopoly game after Huntley and Whitney went out.

Boyle, Cherie, and Hector played Monopoly.

Hector kept losing and his face was filled with white sticky notes.

Hector was unhappy. “You guys are bullying me just because I’m not familiar with this game. Let’s play one more round so that I can paste all the sticky notes on your face.”

Unfazed, Boyle retorted, “Come on. Don’t ever think of beating Rie when you can’t even beat me. Rie is an expert in Monopoly.”

Hector started complaining, “Cher already knew how to play this game. Plus, you’re taking it easy on her. Boyle, you can’t bully me like this!”

Soon after, Huntley and Whitney came back with a bunch of stuff.

“Guys, help us carry the things in the trunk. We bought tons of food.”

Hector removed the sticky notes on his face, jumped over the sofa, and ran to the yard to unload the stuff.

They set up the charcoal grill and started the fire in the yard within a few minutes.

Huntley lived in the capital. People in the capital have barbecues very often, so Huntley had lots of tips in eating and making skewers. He was a professional eater.

Huntley taught Hector how to make skewers. Being clumsy as usual, Hector kept poking himself with the skewer stick and Huntley made fun of him.

On the other hand, Whitney was kneading dough to make dumpling wrappers.

Boyle was making the filling of the dumplings with celery and lean meat.

Cherie was not doing anything, Boyle looked at Whitney’s dough and ordered Cherie, “Whitney’s dough looks a bit dry. Help her add some water to them.”

Cherie filled up a bowl with water from the tap in the yard and poured it into Whitney’s basin.

Soon after, the fillings and the wrappers were both ready.

Boyle and Whitney knew how to make dumplings.

Boyle rolled out the dough while Whitney filled the dumpling wrappers.

Boyle cut out a few pieces of dough for Cherie to make human figurines.

Cherie’s human-shaped dough looked very cute.

Boyle smiled dotingly at her. He cut a bigger piece of dough and gave it to Cherie. He lifted his chin slightly as he said, “Make a house now.”

After a while, Cherie made a house using the dough. It looked real. She even used carrots to decorate it.

Boyle dried Cherie’s human figurine and house-shaped dough on the balcony.
