Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 960

After Cherie returned the phone back to Shania and when she sat down on her bed, she noticed Little Bean Sprout in the corner again.

Little Bean Sprout was sitting in a corner with a really sad look. She was staring at Cherie with a pair of clear beady eyes.

Cherie got out of bed and slowly walked over to her. She squatted down while hugging her knees as she stared intensely at Little Bean Sprout. They looked like two injured little children.

Little Bean Sprout pouted her lips and asked in a soft tone, "Are you really going to send me away, Sister Jelly Bean?"

Cherie reached out to pat Little Bean Sprout's little head as she asked, "Hey, Little Bean Sprout… what is your mother's name?"

Little Bean Sprout stared at her with an innocent look and seemed a little confused as she said, "My mom… well, she's my mom. I don't know her name either but I know that my mom is very pretty."

Cherie said, "But how can a child not know their mother's name?"

Little Bean Sprout pouted her lips and cautiously said, “I just don't know. Have I done something wrong?"

Cherie was teary-eyed as she shook her head. She said, "No, the truth is, Dr. Shania said that I'm actually your mother."

"Really, Sister Jelly Bean?"

Cherie asked, "Can you tell me what your address is?"

"Downey Residence, Block 12, Unit 601. You've asked me that question before already, Sister Jelly Bean."

Cherie took out a picture from her pocket. That picture was given to her by Huntley and Whitney when they visited her.

That was a picture of a family who lived in the Downey Residence, Block 12, Unit 601.

Cherie asked with a shaky voice while her eyes reddened, "But… why aren't you living at… Downey Residence, Block 12, Unit 601 but these people are?"

Little Bean Sprout pouted her lips without saying a word as she stared at Cherie with a helpless look.

"Little Bean Sprout… you're… part of my imagination… aren't you?"

Little Bean Sprout started crying as well as she said, "Why are you saying that, Sister Jelly Bean? Don't you like me anymore?"

"Dr. Shania can't see you. Not even Boyle can see you but I'm the only person who can."

Little Bean Sprout said, "I don't know… I don't know why can't Dr. Shania and Brother Boyle can't see me."

Cherie continued, "This is a hospital and the hospital that I'm admitted to isn't a place that even Boyle could simply stride right in but why can you come and go as you please, Little Bean Sprout?"

Not to mention, she would appear in her room everytime Cherie started thinking about her.

Little Bean Sprout was completely tongue tied and was unable to answer her for a good long while.

Cherie asked, "Hey, Little Bean Sprout, where does your mother work again?"

Little Bean Sprout replied, "I don't know."

Cherie replied, "Why… isn't your mother asking you to come home after you came to North City for so long then? Isn't... she worried?"

Little Bean Sprout was crying as she shook her head and was unable to answer Cherie.

Shania was mulling over Cherie's treatment plans and the right dosage for her medicine.

Suddenly, an assistant doctor came rushing in.

Shania raised her brows and looked at him as she asked, "What's going on? Why are you so frantic?"

"Chancellor Shania, it's… it's Cherie. I think she finally realized that Little Bean Sprout was a child she imagined and she's currently questioning the child."

Shania's eyes glimmered and immediately rushed over.

Shania was standing outside the room and was focused on everything that was happening in the room for a good long while.

A few doctors were skeptical as they asked, "So, is Cherie aware of her own hallucination now?"

Shania let out a sigh of relief as she said, "It seems like after treating her for so long, none of our efforts had gone to waste."

After that, Shania gave Cherie's parents and Boyle a call.

Boyle rushed over to the hospital after learning of what had happened.

The instant Cherie laid eyes on him as he entered her room, she could no longer contain her emotions as she immediately broke down.

Excitement, delight, sadness and all kinds of other emotions were mixed in that instant.
