Alice on the other hand, laying flat on her bed. She is happy, finally, her wish is gonna fulfilled. Soon, Adrian and Charlotte would be erased from her away and she could live her life beside Augustus. What could she want more?!

As she was humming in a happy mood, her phone started ringing all of a sudden.

She looked at the screen and a frown appear on her face. It was Kate, her loyal maid she planted in Augustus's Palace.

"Why she is calling me now? Didn't I ask her to not call without any urgency? What urgency could come now?"

Murmuring those words, she sat up on the bed and received the call. "What happened?"

"Mistress, it's me, Kate." The woman from the opposite side said in a low tone.

"I fucking know you are Kate! What the fuck you are calling me for!?" Alice snapped at her over the phone.

"Mistress, I want to tell you something. It's very important." She paused for a second before continue speaking, "Mistress, it was Alpha Adrian. He is planning to kill Alpha King Augustus." She said and Alice felt blood rushing in her head.

She jumped on her feet right away, "Have you gone crazy!? Do you know what are you talking about!?"

"Yes, Mistress." Her tone turned shaky. "I have heard it with my own ears. I saw him in the dark forest last night when I went out to meet a friend. He was talking to his beta and planning to kill Alpha Augustus to have you for himself. He is also planning to kill Luna Charlotte. I thought I should report this to you."

"They are going to call both Alpha and Luna in the dark forest tonight, ma'am. You will find them there... Oh! Beta Mateo is coming this way! I am hanging up!" She immediately hung up.

"Hey! Listen..." Alice tried to speak but Kate already cut the call and Alice smashed her phone on the ground in rage.

"How dare you, Adrian!? You forced me to sleep with you again and again and now you are trying to do this to me!? Killing Augustus? Fine then, let's see, who kills who!?"

She picked up her phone again and dialled Carina's number. In a few rings, she picked up.

"Carina, get ready. Tonight we will execute our plan..."

On the other side, in the Dark Moon Palace,

Augustus watched the omega on her knees, with her head lowered.

"I did it, Alpha," Kate replied. "Mistress Alice would be there tonight."

"Hmm..." He turned his gaze to two warrior guards of him and gestured them to take her away.

She didn't have to wait as she found Alice already waiting for her. She rushed to her side and whispered, "What happened? Why so urgent?" She asked and Alice frowned.

She looked around the place carefully and pulled her more into the forest and whispered in her ear, "In the afternoon, Kate called. She is my loyal maid in the Dark Moon Palace. She informed me that Adrian planned to kill both Charlotte and Augustus tonight! I don't give a fuck about Charlotte, but Augustus? How dare he think like that!?"

Carina frowned hearing her. "Are you sure about it, Alice?"

"Why? My maid won't lie." Alice immediately refused her words.

Carina shook her head. "It's not about lying Alice, but commonsense. Just think, why would your maid follow your brother all of a sudden when her work is to follow Charlotte only? If she is not following Adrian, then How does she inform you about his plan?"

Carina could not help but doubt Alice's words.

Alice blinked and then shook her head. "She went out last night to meet her friend in the dark forest. There she witnessed Adrian ordering his beta. Kate is there for over two years and doing my work. Every time her information was on point. She never lied. And as cunning as Adrian is, I definitely know he could do such a thing to me!"

"Now, come on, let's not waste our time! We need to reach there before them. Did you do what I asked you to? It should look like the rogues killed Adrian and Charlotte and then I will become the emotional support for Augustus."

Carina nodded absentmindedly. She felt everything weird and does not have too much trust in a maid's word unlike Alice.
