RITA’S POV 

My wrists were tightly bound behind the chair I sat on 

“Arghh.” I groaned in pain, twisting and turning. I had a fight against the strong knot. With each movement I made, the rope dug deeper into my skin. 

This was definitely what I had bargained for when I went hiking The door to the dark room I was locked in swung open and Jasmine walked in 

I looked up at her, wondering what I had done wrong to Jasmine to warrant this kidnap 

She snatched the tape glued to my mouth. 

“Why are you doing this?” I asked. “Have 1 ever done anything wrong to you?” 

Jasmine smirked. “No.” 

“So why are you doing this?” 

She sauntered over to me and brought her face closer to mine. Unlike you, some of us can’t just walk away when our Alphas expect too much from us. If my Alpha asks me to, I’ll kill for him

“Well, if you did not kidnap me, you would not have had to.” 

She glared at me. “Alpha Leo embarrassed my Alpha. He was offered one of my Alpha’s mistresses. He did but only refused to the mistresses, he called my mate a dog. A dog? Do you know what that makes me? A bitch” 

I furrowed my brows, finding it hard to process the information she just dropped. Of course, I heard of the Alpha who condemned other Alphas who brought pain on their Lunas with mistresses.

We werewolves are always in our human form so it’s natural for most werewolves to get interested in other she–wolves. Yours just chose to be faithful to you alone. My eyes widened in alarm. “Witchcraft? It is against the rule for werewolves to engage with witches.”

She left me in the room and immediately she left. I looked around the room. There had to be a way to escape from this place. 

I had to untie myself first, so I began to rock the chair till I tipped over and I tried to set myself free from the ropes. 

My trial was in vain, because the ropes did not loosen one bit. 

Then. I heard a loud commotion from outside the door. 

“Where is she? 

My heart fluttered. That was Alpha Leo
