Seeing that Sophie was searching for her son, Mr. Donny's face flashed with panic. "Did my son disrespect you in any way, Ms. Sophie?"
"Mr. Donny, maybe we could discuss this inside?"
Mr. Donny nodded rapidly, ushering Sophie and her entourage through the grand entrance of the Spellman family estate.
Leading the way with Mr. Donny right behind her, he said, "Ms. Sophie, my son is still young and doesn't know better. If he offended you, I sincerely hope you can forgive him."
"It's no big deal, really. Just that he cut my brake lines, punctured my gas tank, and put a lighter in there. Almost blew me up, that's all."
"What?!"
Mr. Donny nearly collapsed from shock. This was no minor issue; it was a serious offense!
"Timothy! Bring that troublemaker down here right now!"
Sweating profusely, Mr. Donny quickly instructed the maid to fetch Timothy.
In no time, Timothy came downstairs, clearly reluctant.
Upon seeing Sophie, Timothy's expression soured even more.
"Get over here!"
Mr. Donny dragged Timothy in front of Sophie. Sophie, resting her chin on her hand, said, "The car you messed with yesterday wasn't mine; it was Mr. Odie's. He's a bit of a neat freak and doesn't like his cars damaged. You catch my drift?"
"Got it, got it!"
Before Timothy could say a word, Mr. Donny quickly interjected, "Ms. Sophie, I'll cover the full cost of the car!"
"That car was a limited edition, no longer available for purchase. The price, well, it's in the eight-figure range, but I think Mr. Donny can manage it."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
