Jenna yanked Adler to the side and whispered, "This isn't about reforming a brooding young guy; you're literally throwing money at him! Besides, he's the eldest son of the Spellman family. Do you really think he needs a car? What were you thinking?"
"Then what should I do? I've never dealt with this kind of situation! If it were a girl, maybe I'd have some idea, but a boy? What am I supposed to do?"
"Step aside! Let me handle this."
Jenna started scrolling through her phone.
Adler blinked in surprise. "Even Wikipedia knows how to deal with this?"
"Ever read redemption novels? They’re way more useful than Wikipedia!"
"Redemption novels?"
"Yeah, they say you should treat him well, take a bullet for him, reform him with love."
"What? Take a bullet for him? What kind of novels are these? If I give my life for him and he reforms, what good does that do me?"
"That's how the novels write it! How would I know?"
Not far away, Sophie overheard their conversation, believing what Colby had just said. These two were genuinely trying to reform Timothy with love.
Upstairs, in Gordon's study.
Gordon paused, holding a chess piece. "Reform with love?"
"Isn't that what you meant, sir?" Rick was taken aback. "Ms. Jenna and Mr. Adler were asking me about it, thinking you wanted to reform him with love."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
