“What? You didn't know? You didn't know and still went ahead with all those heartless actions?”
“What heartless actions have I done?” Ricardo shot back coldly. “Compared to the heartless deeds you folks have done, especially the one upstairs, I'm nothing.”
Everyone's gaze shifted upstairs.
Odie stood at the top of the staircase, his brows furrowing as he noticed everyone staring at him.
Odie's icy glare quickly shifted to Ricardo.
Adler cleared his throat and said, “Well… to err is human, to forgive divine. Odie’s changed his ways and is one of us now!”
“Who says I’ve changed my ways?”
Odie walked down the stairs, slouched on the sofa, and said, “I’m just here licking my wounds. I never said I was one of you.”
“Oh, come on, it’s practically the same thing. To outsiders, you’re one of us now. Besides, with the Minton family gone, you’ve got nowhere else to live if you move out!”

At that moment, Jonah also came downstairs.
Jonah had been recuperating at the Burke Estate these past few days and usually didn’t show himself. He handed a glass of water to Odie and said, “Boss, should we take action to reclaim the company?”
Hearing Jonah say this, Adler nearly choked on his tea.
“Brother, what do you think he took? A child's toy? You think we can just take it back? If you’re so capable, go reclaim it yourself!”

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
