"What do you mean, blood donation?"
Odie's question lingered in the air, but before the nurse could respond, Sophie cut in. "You just stay put and heal up. I've got Colby's crew keeping an eye on you outside. I'm not sure what's happening at the casino, so I'm heading over to check it out."
With that, Sophie made her way to the door, slipping past the nurse before she could stop her.
Odie turned to the nurse, his voice cold, "What do you mean by blood donation?"
The nurse met his eyes, feeling a shiver run down her spine. She stammered, "Well, the blood bank was running low, so..."
"So what?"
"So, Ms. Sophie donated some blood. She hasn't had much rest yet..."
"And she's out and about without proper rest? Is she trying to stir up more trouble?"
Seeing Odie attempt to rise, the nurse quickly pushed him back down, insisting, "You're seriously injured and just had surgery. You can't go anywhere!"
Odie barely moved before pain shot through his wounds.
The nurse firmly held him down, "You're not going anywhere until you've healed."
Odie's gaze stayed glued to the door.
But now, he was stuck in bed, unable to leave.
Outside the casino.
Sophie's car rolled up to find The Mintons' casino sealed tight.
Colby's men were standing guard.
A bodyguard from the Costello family approached, saying, "Ma'am, the boss is inside and doesn't want you going in. If you're here, he suggests you rest a bit. He'll be done soon."
"Not letting me in?"
Sophie asked, "Is he in there sorting someone out?"
"Yes."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
