After speaking, Kiran stormed out of the police station. His bodyguard trailed closely behind. Once they were outside, Kiran halted, spun around, and slapped the bodyguard hard across the face.
"I asked you to keep my sister safe. What were you doing?"
The bodyguard didn't dare to argue, just hung his head and mumbled, "Miss didn’t want me hovering around, and that Sophie, she only let me stay in the Minton family’s greenhouse. This afternoon, when we headed to the airport, Miss said she needed the restroom, so I waited outside. But when twenty minutes ticked by and she still hadn’t come out... I had to check the women's restroom, only to find no trace of her..."
The more he spoke, the more baffled he felt. He quickly raised his eyes, "I was at the entrance the whole time. There's no way she could've been taken without me noticing! Something's definitely off here!"
"Sophie..."
Kiran was lost in thought for a moment.
"Book a flight to Summerfield immediately! We can't waste a second!"
"Yes, sir!"
The night was deepening.
Sophie lay alone in the Minton family villa in Summerfield. Suddenly, the hum of a car engine grew louder, and headlights danced across her window.
Sophie slowly got up from the bed and walked to the door. Somehow, Kiran had slipped into the Minton family villa without a sound and was now sitting in the living room, casually pouring himself a cup of coffee.
"Ms. Sophie, we meet again."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
