“Master? Only fools would buy into that kind of nonsense.” Kiran's voice dripped with disdain. “Since you’re so devoted to your master, I'll send you off to meet him first, then I’ll make sure your master joins you.”
With a swift command from Kiran, his crew started picking off members of The Silent Shadows. Within moments, the place was a scene of chaos, littered with bodies and stained with blood. Kiran stood unfazed by the carnage. Once the dust settled, one of his guys approached him, “Mr. Angelo, it’s all sorted.”
“Get our team ready and head straight to the Gibbs estate.”
“Got it.”
Kiran's crew efficiently tidied up the scene, then piled into a line of sleek black cars, speeding off towards the Gibbs estate. That day, the heart of Summerfield was alive with blaring car horns, leaving bystanders puzzled. But such spectacles were old hat in Summerfield, and folks quickly cleared a path to dodge any trouble.
The Gibbs estate was already swarming with people. Sandy, who was upstairs about to hit the hay, stiffened at the sound of the honking outside. Kena barged into Sandy’s room in a hurry.
“What’s happening?” Sandy asked, picking up on Kena’s nervous energy.
“Your brother’s crew is here! It’s too risky to hide anyone here, you’ve got to come with me!” In a fog of panic, Sandy followed Kena, who was already hustling her toward the basement.
Sandy found herself tucked away in a tiny wine cellar as Kena smoothed down her nightgown and headed back upstairs. Meanwhile, Kiran's men had the estate's security wrapped up, leaving them defenseless.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
