"Maybe, Mr. Caelum, you've never really gotten to know your son. From what I've seen, he's genuinely good to Sandy. He might have his own reasons, you know?"
"Let's hope so."
Caelum's eyes grew a bit misty as he turned to Sophie and said, "When it comes to dealing with The Silent Shadows, the Pollard family can step in. Your generation is far more capable than ours, I've witnessed it firsthand. All I ask is that when the time comes, you'll look after Sandy. I've spoiled her since she was young, keeping her sheltered from the world's harsh realities."
He paused for a moment before continuing, "But since she's been with you, I've noticed Sandy's grown up a lot. I've lived a long life and only recently realized that money is just a side-note, and it's living that truly matters. I'm trusting you with Sandy; she sincerely sees you as a friend, and I believe you feel the same about her."
Sophie nodded, reassuringly, "Don't worry, I'll make sure she's looked after."
"I don't have much else to pass on to you. But I do have this."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
