Sophie moved with lightning speed, smoothly sliding a bullet into the chamber before pointing the gun right at Robert's forehead. Her actions were so fluid that they instantly cranked up the tension in the room. Poor Robert, already a nervous wreck, was now utterly petrified.

"Speak up already! Quick!" Sophie's voice was sharp, slicing through the air like a knife. Robert's fear was almost tangible.

Sophie's demeanor wasn't just for show, and after what seemed like an eternity, Spencer finally cracked. "Sophie, it was me trying to pull the wool over your eyes, not him! If you're going to kill someone, let it be me!" he shouted, desperation evident in his voice.

"Do you think I'm clueless? You don't value your life, so don't worry. If you keep quiet, once I'm done with Robert, you're next on the list. I'll send you both packing!" Sophie's threat was cold and clear.

"Spencer! I don't want to die!" Robert's voice was a whimper, his terror painfully obvious.

Realizing Sophie meant business, Spencer shut his eyes tight and confessed, "All she asked was for me to take out Uncle Jack, claiming you'd definitely show up tonight. That's the whole story!"
