During her collaboration with Reece, she had nothing substantial to offer but could only promise shares in Reece Russell Entertainment. However, following the merger between Russell Enterprises and S Corporation, she handed over Russell Entertainment to Reece to manage.
Later, due to issues with a false identity, she gave Reece additional shares, and combined with Russell Entertainment, Reece held thirty percent of the company's shares.
Sophie felt that Reece deserved these shares, and they were her way of compensating him.
For a long time over the past two years, she entrusted the company to Reece's care.
She had always trusted Reece.
Yet, she never expected Reece to betray her at this moment.

Tricia's voice sounded tense.
This situation had become too big, and they couldn't let outsiders know.

Sophie felt a chill in her bones.

Although holding just over forty percent didn't exceed half of the company's shares, it was undeniable that Reece held the majority.
Since he was the largest shareholder, calling for an election vote was within reason.
Even Sophie only had forty percent at this point.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free.
